Beautiful Dress, but the Shoulder Fit Wasn’t Right for Me
This dress is really pretty in person. The tweed fabric looks polished, the beaded details add a nice touch, and it has that classic, put-together vibe that works well for dinners, events, or holidays. The quality is solid for the price, and it arrived looking just like the listing photos. That said, the fit wasn’t ideal for my body type. I have broader shoulders, and the cut through the shoulders and upper chest made them look more pronounced than I prefer. The rest of the dress fit fine, but that area threw off the overall balance for me. I think this would be very flattering on someone with narrower shoulders or a straighter frame. If that’s you, it’s a great option. I’m docking one star only for fit on my body, not for quality or design, which are both lovely. Read more
