Wanted a simple stand since SIM racing is an expensive hobby. This works great. As long as you make sure everything is tightened properly it’s sturdy & well made. Enjoying it so far. Read more

Showed up in a smashed box. Every part is scratched and dented. The nuts and bolts are all loose inside the box. I can’t even return this without finding another box to fit all of this stuff in Read more

USE CASE I bought this stand because of its shape. In my home office there isn't much room behind the desk, with the chair and green screen stand behind that. So the arrangement where the pedals tuck in under the desk and the wheel & shifter are right up front is great. My desk is too fat for the wheel to clip onto. I say this in case yours is the same. Make sure the stand you choose will fit in the area you have available. If you're not thinking, it could be very easy to buy a stand that looks cool but is the wrong shape for your use. ASSEMBLY Assembly was a bit of a challenge but not rocket science. Instructions are thin: a single photocopied page with six panels of diagrams. All the pieces were there. You just have to commit to the 20-30 minutes it's going to take. I'm mechanically inclined but can imagine this could be challenging for some people...and can also imagine other people putting it together much faster than I did. Lay the pieces and fasteners out on a tablecloth or newspaper to protect your table. Proceed methodically. Look carefully at the layout of the pieces in the diagrams before you start bolting things together. Check bolt hole patterns and make sure they're in the right direction. It'll save you from having to do the work twice. Putting the wheel and pedals on was not difficult. Do this before connecting the bottom where the pedals go and the top T-part where the wheel goes, so you can flip these upside down as necessary and not have to wrangle the whole thing. DAILY USE It is heavy. I have it tucked away in the corner behind the green screen when not in use. I found you had to tighten everything down including the two threaded rod screw pins provided already installed, but once that was done the thing has been solid. Let me speak plainly: if you think you've done everything to tighten the stand and you didn't touch those two pins, the stand will jiggle as you play and you'll be frustrated. Turn everything that can be turned to tighten. The stand does not move on a lino and rug floor. Games I have: ETS2 (primarily what I bought the wheel and this stand to play), Dirt Rally 2.0, Gas Guzzlers Extreme (surprisingly and ridiculously fun), Mudrunner, and a few other racing games. Of course with this arrangement the ETS2 truck cabin feels most natural, but the racing games have been just as much fun. I got the G29 on sale at around $200 and this stand for just under $100, so for a very affordable entry into wheeled racing it has been a good combo. Read more
