My dress arrived, I was happy that it appeared as pictured and the fit was as expected, BUT. NO POCKETS!!! There is a seam line, but it does not open and there is no pocket lining on the inside of dress either. I kept, because I liked the dress and resolved to wear a jacket or sweater with it at all times while at work. I wanted pockets to keep ID card and keys for facility while working, but oh, well! I read the size chart and decided the 14 would be good. It is too big, I am sure a 12 will be better. I have a few days so hopefully it arrives before I have to fly out for a funeral. Parents are being laid to rest at Arlington. It is a big deal and I love this dress with a light weight shrug. I am 5'4" and size 8 regular but my dress size is bigger. I measured properly and according to the chart I needed a 14. But it is baggy in the breast, waist and hips. Praying the 12 gets here asap. Overall I think the dress is great and will be perfect for this occasion. I am giving it 5 stars, it isn't anyone's fault that it is too big except mine. Perfect little black dress. I'm 5'2" and it falls to the back of my knees, which I like. I'm usually a size 4 and sometimes size 6 when slightly baggy. Based on reviews saying it ran large, I ordered size 2 and 4. Size 4 was perfect. Not too snug but still somewhat shapely. I love the material. It's not that scuba material which seems to be everywhere. It's more of a thick crepe feel material but not to thick that it's hot and the dress has a liner. Neither the sizes had real pockets but I didn't mind as sometimes dresses with angled pockets can pucker. Perfect to wear year round and dress is comfy. Read more
