These comfortable yet dressy pants are a workwear staple for me. My office is fairly casual, but I do prefer to dress up more than jeans. Our company uniform tees are royal blue with a white logo, so I often pair one with these pants and either black heels or flats for a sophisticated look that is still on-brand. These appear to be well made the fabric is not too thick or thin. I am 5 3 1/2 210 lb and I bought the 2x because that is what I usually buy on this label. I would have to have them hemmed if I wanted to wear with flats I've not tried them on yet with a slight heel. I wouldn't say that there's snug but if you carry your weight and your tummy like I do you may want to get the three x. The elastic waistband is actually only about one inch the photo makes it look like a wider elastic band but there is a seam as you can see in the photo that I suppose makes the pants lie flat so they don't buckle like most elastic waist pants. I may order the 3x and that way I can try them both on and compare. This is a very pretty print white black and cobalt blue. I wish it came in other patterns. The nice thing is it's not too big in the rear end or the thighs which often is the case when I have to buy a 2X to accommodate my tummy and waist measurement the thighs end up being too big but this drapes very nicely. I'm sure that these would be even prettier on someone taller than me. UPDATE: I hung these on a pants hanger for couple days and when I put them on, they had stretched in length by at least one inch! I'm hoping when I wash them they will return to the original length.. Read more
