I purchased this in white for my Mom's "Going Home Ceremony." It is an elegant dress for any service or occasion you wish to wear (even to work) since it comes in many colors. The sizing is accurate. I am 180lbs, 5'6", and the XL is the perfect fit (especially for my hips). It hits below the knee. I wore it with a simple pearl belt to add a little more flare to it.
