Great hammock, love it! I have been looking for a replacement hammock for our old cloth hammock and stumbled across this product and immediately bought it. The product description promised two hardwood spreaders which would be able to hold up the hammock and soft handcrafted ropes. The wooden spreaders did feel like they were good quality upon inspection and seem very sturdy. The ropes are nice and thick and do not hurt at all when I am laying down on the hammock. They are nicely interwoven and make a tight net, so you do not have to be scared to fall through. The hammock also can hold up two persons just like promised and it does not even feel like a too tight fit. For the installation we decided to also get a hammock stand which is sadly not included in the package, but for the price totally understandable. The installation of the hammock was totally easy with the stand, and we had it done in a couple of minutes. I think the installation of the hammock would have been slightly more complicated if we would have done it with trees, but with the hammock stand it was no problem at all. The magazine bag and the cup holder that are included in the package are also a great addition to the set and just make it a lot more comfortable to relax and be able to get a magazine without moving. For now, the hammock has been holding up very well outside, but I would absolutely recommend getting the hammock inside during bad weather to make sure it will last longer. I really enjoy this hammock and would definitely recommend it as an alternative to the usual cloth hammock which get worn out really quickly and also dirty. A great product for a great price! This is a great hammock! It took longer to unpack then it did to assemble. Assembly was super easy, (I did it alone) and the individual pieces were not heavy. The material is solid and well made. The padded top quilt is exactly like the picture. It's comfortable and pretty. I do like I can remove the top quilt and pillow before bad weather. I think for the money, it is a good value. The pad is the wrong size for the hammock. It gets the job done but it is too wide and not long enough. The pillow is extremely thin and useless unless you fold it in half. I had purchased a different that didn’t have the flat bar and I felt like I was inside a banana peel. I wanted to be able to lie flat and be able to see all the nature in my yard so after careful reviews and searching I decided on this one. It matches the trim on my home perfectly and it was the least expensive to boot so it was a win win for me. Set up was so easy and a breeze. You will have to slowly set down and place your bum in the middle if you don’t want to flip but I feel very safe in it and I go about 210-215 pounds. I’m not sure about two people fitting in this but it’s perfect for one person. I love the removable padding but it does hang over about six inches on one end. That for me isn’t aesthetically pleasing to the eyes but I love being able to wash it. The pillow is ok. I really don’t use it as it’s too skinny for me. I bring out my own pillow when I use it. I guess I should of measured my old hammock, but this one was slightly smaller on length and width than the one I already had between my two trees. The cover blanket fit my old one pretty good, but the new one it came with was smaller than the blanket which I don't understand because there are tie strings to set it to and the width in like 4 inches bigger than the hammock itself. So I just put the blanket on my old one and stored the new one in my garage until my old one falls apart. Read more
