This is a great pair of go-with-anything shorts! The fit was just right (I ordered a large which is what I usually am and they fit perfectly), and the look is so cute and versatile. The fabric is 97% polyester 3% elastane, which gives a light and breathable feel on your skin and is quite soft, and makes them super easy care - just machine wash and dry, and I didn't need to iron at all - very wrinkle resistant! They aren't see through at all, and have just a bit of stretch to them while still maintaining their shape well. The cut is great. The high elastic waist sits well at your true waist with a wide band, and the silhouette is sleek and not bulky, with the side pockets laying flat against you in a flattering way. They come to about mid-upper thigh on me, which is just right for the warmer months but not too short. The bottoms don't have any cuff, which also makes them capable of looking a bit dressier if you want, you could definitely dress these up with tights and heels and look super cute. So happy I took a chance and ordered these! I am a size 4-6 ( 138@ 5’7”) and followed the size chart and ordered the small. They fit great! If you are in between sizes I’d suggest leaning towards the smaller size. (If you are a true size 2 the small is likely be too big for you.) These shorts are extremely comfortable and lightweight. These are the perfect shorts for summer that look casual yet totally put together, all with the comfort of pajama shorts. While being 5’7” Im not proportional: I have long legs with a very short torso. The rise hit me right at my belly button while the length hits at the perfect stylish & flattering yet “perfectly covered” length on me. I have more athletic thighs for my waist size and find the cut is of these shorts flattering. There was no smell upon unpackaging and the pictures are taken with these shorts right out of package so they are fairly wrinkle resistant. The navy I ordered is a true navy blue. The only part I’m not a huge fan of is the way the elastic waist in the back looks on me. I already knew that’s rarely a flattering look on me personally when ordering ( compared to the model that it looks terrific on ) but it’s easy to cover with a any waist length shirt and overall these shorts are more flattering than I expected so no docked stars. I’m always wearing shorts or dresses unless we have a cold snap in weather like we currently have or when I go up north. I find myself looking for new, lightweight, comfortable clothing quite often so when I saw these I decided to give them a try. These shorts are well made, lightweight yet not see through and very comfortable. The elastic waist doesn’t squeeze my stomach, they’re loose fitting & the length is modest. I appreciate the front pockets that are deep enough to hold stuff in without it falling out, the back has faux pockets although I kinda wish they were actual pockets. The side zipper zips smoothly without catching the nearby fabric. These are a nice pair of shorts that can be worn when I want to look a little dressier than wearing denim or yoga/spandex shorts. The sizing is accurate, I ordered my usual size, medium, and they fit well. These shorts washed well in cool water, hung to dry then tossed in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes, there was no bleeding and they kept their shape nicely. Read more
