I was on the fence about how this would look on me but I really like this simple sporty dress!! I’m 5’5” & currently 165 lbs holding most of my weight in my lower stomach area. In recent clothes purchasing I’ve been a large border lining on almost a medium so I got this in medium & it was the right choice :) the body suit is taught & the outer dress is roomy enough to not show my belly but not too baggy where I look frumpy or like I’m wearing a potato sack. It’s the perfect size especially since as I continue losing weight it will still look good so I can wear it for a while before having to buy a smaller sizer which is a major win! The outfit itself is super comfy with adjustable straps & will be great for lounging around the house, running errands, walking the dogs, going to theme parks, etc. It’s so versatile especially since you can wear it as is or layer with different tanks/shirts to get different looks which would make it great to pack for a trip. Love that it has pockets & unlike most dresses putting my phone in it doesn’t weigh it down heavily. The material is nice not too thick or thin & has a nice stretch. It doesn’t seem to wrinkle. The body suit allows you to not have to wear a bra with it if you don’t want to which I’m not in my photo & there’s plenty of coverage for my 38C. The blue color is also stunning. It hits 3 inches above my knee so it’s good as is however I do kinda prefer a bit shorter length. This outfit is getting 4 stars because it is a little complicated to put on. Needing the 2XL, I’d did purchase a tank to layer underneath for a more modest effect. I’m not really a fan of getting undressed to go to the restroom while running errands or otherwise out and about. So, normally I wouldn’t pick out something like this. I’ve purchased it for a cruise so that I had some different lounge about looks. I really think I will enjoy it. It provides a loose feel and gives comfortable fun vibes. I got the dark grey. It’s a good color and kind of creates those boho beachy vibes. With the undershirt and the base unit I am planning on adding some “cakes” and not wear a bra. Fabric was really think and felt cheap. Fit was a bit looser than I prefer, bought my usual size so maybe size down if you don’t want it being really baggy under the arms and in the chest area. Cute but just not for me. Read more

This is wonderful! I bought this during my first trimester with another item, and im proud to say, they've grown with my belly! Its so comfy, and I dont get chafing with the built in shorts. Its got nice coverage if you havw a smaller chest, due to the built in romper. It you have a large chest like me, id wear a maternity skirt under for more coverage, if thats your thing 😀 its definitely a spring to summer outfit, so its not very warm for fall or winter. I love these dresses. They’re so comfortable and convenient, especially for travel. The one criticism I have is that they do tend to fit a little differently. I have one in a different color that is cut better and is more flattering than the pink. But either way, it’s a great dress and definitely a great Free People dupe! Read more
