Nice enough by itself or for layering

JulieJanuary 30, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Very happy with this shirt, but it will depend on what your going for if it's for you or not. I have many thermals- about 20, give or take a few- from several companies. This one is one of my go to's if I'm wearing it by itself. It could be layered but I have others I wear for that. It's soft, and warm. It's not one of the thinner ones but it's not too thick for layering under a blouse either. I was not going for a fitted shirt, I was hoping for it to be a little bit loose and it was a perfect fit for what I was going for. I've had it over a month, worn and washed many times and it's held up just fine. I was worried there might be some piling but the material has held up great, not at all see through. I generally wash these shirts on cold and either dry on low-med heat, or line dry. I've also worn this shirt to sleep, my house is very drafty, but I still need a fan on me to sleep so I definitely get cold, especially when getting out of bed at night. This shirt has kept me warm, but not been too much. So if your looking for the warmest thermal out there, this might not be it. But for a good, soft, comfortable shirt that can help protect from some cold and be layered, this is great. Read more

BEST SHIRTS!!!

EngineerJanuary 22, 2026✓ Verified purchase

I absolutely LOOOOOVE these shirts! They're super-soft, the fit is great, and they're easy to care for and durable. I was worried they were going to be thin and see-through, but they're thicker than even the Ultra Warm Heattech shirts I have from Uniqlo (and way cheaper). They're also warm -- perfect for layering under a flannel shirt. I was so pleased with my purchase that I recommended them to my sister, who also bought a couple and loves them. I bought several more for me, too. The sizing is accurate. Buy these -- you won't regret it! Read more

Warm and cozy!

This is the best layering piece I've purchased in quite some time, and it came at a great price! It fits well, it's soft and warm and perfect for the frigid winter weather we're experiencing where I live. Just added two more to my Amazon cart. Read more

Great base layer

LynneJanuary 3, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Since I work outside alot in the winter, a nice warm, thin base layer is always a plus. I honestly took a chance on these because they were on sale. And I am so glad that I did. The extra sleeve and waist length are wonderful, they are so soft, and amazingly warm. Several people said to sixe up so I did. Admittedly, I don't feel it was nessasary, but I still love the way they fit. I originally ordered 2, but liked them so much, I ordered 3 more. With any luck, I will catch them on sale again, because I would like to order a few more in different colors. Read more

Warm and good fit, but ivory, not white, and may contain polyester

T.m.caurinusDecember 13, 2025✓ Verified purchase

So, this is a good thin thermal top. The exterior is fairly smooth and soft, and the interior has a very soft microfleece finish. I can feel it warming me up literally as I'm putting it on. It's comfortable, and my usual size in tops, Medium, fits me well - a little bit more snugly than before after washing in cold and drying on low, which is good since I mainly want to wear it as a base layer. (I'm 5'5", 140ish, 34C bra, 28" waist, 41" hips.) The "white" color is actually ivory or very light cream - this is fine for me, but if you're looking for paper white, you won't be happy with this. As far as fabric content, I'm not 100% convinced that this is made of just rayon and spandex. It doesn't have quite that silky-soft feel that rayon/spandex knits usually have, and I suspect it actually contains polyester as well, even though the care tag says only 92% rayon, 8% elastane. I've had the same suspicion with certain colors in the ribbed turtleneck top from this same brand; I'll have to do a burn test soon and share my results. (I normally wouldn't question the fiber info on a care tag, but I've had too many instances of very clearly falsified fiber content with international Amazon sellers, such as polyester tagged as silk and polyester tagged as linen/cotton.) I did use a mesh bag for washing this top, as my apartment has an old agitator-style machine and it's rough on knits. But the care tag says to hang dry, and it came out of the low-heat dryer (which isn't actually super low, lol) just fine, no pilling and just that tiny amount of shrinkage. I'd be careful what other pieces are in the dryer with it to avoid snagging or excessive friction, though. I'll probably air dry it most of the time, to keep the elastic from deteriorating. I'm wearing it today, so we'll see how the fabric holds up. At the sale price of under $10, I would recommend this, and I might get it in other colors. I'd prefer my thermal base layer tops have a higher neckline though, and Anrabess doesn't seem to offer this one with a mock neck or turtleneck, or even a nice high crewneck - this one is more of a jewel neckline. So due to that and the questionable fabric content, I wouldn't buy it at full price. Read more

Amazing quality

The best thermal shirt I have ever boughten. I live in a cold area with lots of snow. I get cold SO easily. My hands are always cold etc. This top keeps me so cozy without overheating. I love that it is a cotton outside with the fleece inside. The polyester/nylon outside ones pil and does not look good for work. This is nice to dress up ir down. Read more

The fleece top is very well made. The material is soft and stretchy. The medium weight makes it perfect for the cold winter month. Read more
