When this sweater first arrived I was totally surprised. While I wouldn’t have purchased it if the description & photo hadn’t appealed to me, reality and expectations aren’t always the same. In this case reality far exceeded! This sweater is substantial but not bulky. It has a soft drapey feel due to its viscose/nylon fabrication. The sleeves are nicely finished so they can be “jugged up”, folded, or just left down. I like the oversized look and typically wear a L or XL, so I got an XL & it’s just right. I would never wear this sweater as a dress, but then I’m a 60’s girl so I’m long past those days. If I wasn’t, & felt the look was right for me, I would! I have several sweaters by another manufacturer (not FP) that look very similar to this one but are a cashmere blend, and even given the difference in fabric, I now have a difficult time justifying its almost $200 price tag when this sweater is available. The palette of colors is dizzying, so one could never run out of ideas. As far as washing, I would never put a sweater in the machine; only hand wash in cold water & either lay out or hang (depends on circumstances) to dry. This really is an exquisite sweater, & offered at such a bargain price, one can hardly go wrong in trying it out. Maybe you’ll be as surprised as I was! Update - I have received 2 more of these sweaters since the first one; apricot & black. They are every bit as beautiful as the first one. Apricot is really an ecru which is what I wanted, and black is, well it’s black. They measure & fit just right, & no issues with torn seams, loose threads, bad odors, or any other plagues. Granted I have yet to wash them, & I expect doing so will be the true test of their potential longevity. That said, at least I haven’t paid $200/each for them! Nevertheless I really love them and would like to enjoy wearing them for a good long while so I might just break down and use the dry cleaners. I’ll have to see how brave I’m feeling when the time comes. Read more

This sweater is a great Free People dupe! I purchased both this and the FP one and they are so incredibly similar. Obviously this one you get way more bang for your buck. I love the structure of the low profile collar. The sleeves are a little on the shorter size but it gives almost a sophisticated look that way. If you size up, the sweater feels like it only gets boxier, not really longer. It’s very comfortable and looks high-end! Read more

Pros: The quality of this sweater is very good. It is thick, cozy, and seems to be well made. It is also true to size and the fabric is soft. The perfect fall sweater with leggings or cute jeans. I would NOT consider this a dress at all. So if you are looking for something that’s a sweater dress (to be worn with no leggings that is), I recommend sizing up a few sizes, otherwise your bum will show when you bend or sit! lol Cons: I can’t speak for all of the colors, but the “grass” green is not really green at all. Definitely not the green in the photos. The top photo in my review is the listing picture and the bottom photo is of what I got. It is a LITTLE green if you really look at it, but it’s like 95% gray. lol nothing like the light green I expected to get. I don’t mind the color, but it’s not what I ordered. I returned and chose a different color (army green) and that was accurate to the description. I’m not sure if I got the wrong sweater sent to me or if the color really is that off. 4/5 stars for quality but the color for “grass” green isn’t grass by any means! Overall, it’s a great sweater and I own it in three colors. Read more

I love this tunic. It's long enough to be worn as a dress with tights. Super soft, keeps you warms, and feels like quality material. I want one in every color. Flattering on all body types Read more

Cute sweater and still works, although did fit not as I expected. It does not fit like a dress, the length is quite a bit shorter. Read more

I LOVE the material and color (nutmeg). It’s a great dupe for the free people ottoman tunic, is so soft/not at all itchy, and is very warm. Unfortunately it is truly a dress on me, not a sweater/tunic. I tried it on with jeans and even with a front tuck it just looks silly. I’m 5’2, 110 lbs, and 30DD, and the S is very roomy on me and hits about 2 inches above my knee. I’m keeping to wear as a sweater dress with tights/boots or around the house with leggings because it’s that comfy, but it’s not the cute fall sweater/tunic I was hoping to be able to wear with jeans and booties. If you’re 5’5 or above this would be PERFECT for you. Would also be great with a baby bump! Read more

Got this dress on a special sale for $29-ish. I. Freaking. Love. It. Traveled on a plane in it (both ways) washed it several times… still maintains its shape and softness. It’s sooo comfortable and flattering. I wore it with black pantyhose and both flats (black pointed toe with suede finish) and thigh high black boots. Looks amazing with both. If this ever goes on sale again, I’ll buy more colors. I’m a very athletic woman (Matthew is my husband), so sweater dresses are either a big hit or major miss due to my physique. I’ve found fitted sweater dresses are more aimed at women with a waif-like physique and manage to make anyone with a shape contrary to the aforementioned very bulky/frumpy looking (unless you have really nice shape wear underneath)… but I can’t shape wear away my shoulders. Anywhoozles. This dress is 10/10 in all categories. I am 5’5” (65 inches), ~135-140 (almost all muscle w/lower body fat), 34DD. The length is perfect, especially if you want to show a bit of legs (def didn’t run into the Britney Spears circa 2010’s flashing issues… the lady bits were well covered). Read more
