This dress is comfy, flowing and flattering!! I have lost some weight and needed some new dresses. I wanted some comfy dresses in some bright colors for the upcoming Spring and Summer. These popped up in my search. I was not sure about these and the material, but after reading the reviews, I found my size and order 4 of them in different colors. I was either going to be set, or be disappointed. WELL, I AM DELIGHTED! These are so comfy and easy to wear. The colors are bright and fun. The fabric drapes well over my frame and is very flattering on my, still, plus frame. They are maxi length, but not too long, as others I have purchased, and I am 5'4". I'm 80 years old, 180 lb. 5'9" X-large I love dresses made like this for summer. I gave this 4 stars because the waist was a little high and I didn't think the skirt had as much flow as it appeared in the picture. But with that said I am keeping it. I bought the green, it is a beautiful bright color and the material seems a good lasting quality . I thought is felt heavy when I opened the package but once on It fit well with good stretch across the chest. It is comfortable, attractive and the length is exactly as shown. It looked well alone and with a white denim jacket so it will be useful most of the year. I thought the price to be very good for something so comfortable and useful. Sometimes it’s hard to find a good red in clothing. It’s too wine-y, too orange, too pink, etc. This dress is a beautiful solid firecracker/Christmas red. Lovely! Just the thing for a picnic or fun summer day out! At 5’7” and 145 I tried the M but decided I could use the S. I’m not busty, just a B cup, but my shoulders are broad so the fit across the shoulders can be iffy for me. I don’t think sizing down would work for a larger cup size because the smaller dress would also have a slightly higher empire waist. In this case the fabric is stretchy enough that it worked for me. The fabric is soft, comfortable, and does not wrinkle. I haven’t washed it yet. I like the blend of materials and believe it will be comfortable in summer heat. I have tried this same style by a couple of other manufacturers and Anrabess uses a fabric blend I like better (it feels more cottony, less synthetic). I plan to purchase a couple of other colors. Another manufacturer of this same style dress uses a poly spandex blend that has that space-dye look where the color of the fabric isn’t quite solid. That’s not my thing. Read more
Bought this while recuperating from surgery and needing easy-to-wear clothes. This was as comfortable as a nightgown but pretty and opaque enough to wear outside. Fabric has some stretch without being clingy and doesn't feel flimsy. Generously sized. XXL was too large even though that corresponded to the size chart. XL was fine. This dress is classic! It fits in all the right spots. I got both a navy and a deep green. The material is a soft jersey knit and isn't see through however it still breaths. The colors described are spot on. It sways beautifully when walking and is at a very modest length. It would look beautiful dressed up or dressed down because it's so neutral. Oh! Did I mention it has POCKETS? Well it does and they are good sized. Not deep enough to hold a phone but more to hold Chapstick or small set of keys. A phone in the pockets would definitely weigh this dress down. I did however feel the need for a slip as this dress clings to the rumpus a tad. Also, I had to size down. I originally bought 2 large but I felt I looked frumpy (and it still clung) but the medium is absolutely made for me. I'm 165 lbs and 5'7" and usually wear a large, if that helps. Read more
