I was in the market for a new swim suit as they get worn out so easily. This one had a unique look to it. The contrasting white straps are a fun addition to the black suit. I ordered my typical size small and it fits well with no loose areas (I have a smaller backside so I sometimes have trouble with a loose fit there). Overall I like it, here are the details: Pros: -Body-con sexy fit -the ribbing makes your tummy look flatter Cons: -High cut sides, less coverage in front (I'll be wearing swim shorts with this) -Fabric is rough to touch, not smooth like a typical bathing suit I haven't tested this in a pool yet as it is winter, but it washed fine in the sink, no shrinkage or weird material issues. I hypothesize the fabric, which is not typical flat, shiny material you'd expect for "real" swimming means that this is more of a layout, play-on-the-beach kind of suit, not for athletic swim-4-miles-in-the-ocean types BUT I haven't tested that theory yet. This is a very nice swim suit that hides imperfections based on the double lining and textured layered. I really like shape of this. My daughter is 165 lbs and 5’3 and the XL was a perfect fit. She carries most of her weight around her hips and lower stomach and has no ‘seat’. This suit did not ride up and stayed in place when she swam. She is on a swim team and they all wear black suits, so the black and white color pattern was perfect. This suit had good tummy control and pulled your eyes away from the waist line. The straps were adjustable and the suit is a great quality suit that appears it will last. My favorite feature is the texture of the suit. It’s unique and dresses up a black swimsuit. I wouldn’t recommend this suit for its attractiveness, quality, and value for the money. You could wear this to the local beach or on vacation and feel confident and at the same time be comfortable! This swimsuit looks great on and fit me true to size. I’m 5’5 140lbs and got the medium. The v cut in front is flattering without being extremely high and there are 2 removable pads in the front. The adjustable straps have limited stretch, but the body of the suit is all stretch. I’m not sure how to describe the fabric. There are 2 layers of fabric sewn together for this suit, as opposed to just one stretchy layer of fabric. The top layer feels soft/plushy. On the rear end, the 2 layers of fabric joined together cause a very small amount of gathering around the elastic. I would prefer it to be smooth, but perhaps that bit of gathering is intentional for a flattering rear view. I have not been in the water wearing this suit yet. This swimsuit is a rich blue color and slips on easily. The shoestring straps are adjustable and the bra shelf is comfortable for a full figure woman. The legs are cut rather high and this is somewhat a detriment because it does not give modest coverage to the lower figure. As I would hesitate to wear this in public I cannot comment on how well it will hold up during swimming or water aerobics. Read more

I am 5’4 125 lbs and got a small and it fit great. My waist is about 26 so it fit a little bit loose there, but overall it is very flattering. The bottom coverage is perfect and the texture of the fabric masks any unsightly bulges. The black is vibrant and the fabric quality is thick. My lady partner tried this on after I received it. It is medium-sized and fits well. The color, the blueish-purple, holds up well. She said it is comfortable and looks fantastic on her.
