These pants look like the pictures. The color matches for the bluish (lake) ones I got. It is a very pretty color. The crotch to waistband length is pretty long because these really are high waisted pants. The waistband sits above my belly button. You really cannot sit these lower on your waist or hips because then the crotch will be at your knees and if you are short, these pants are really long. I am only 5'3" and having them pulled up as high as I can they might still drag on the ground if I do not wear a thick soled shoe or heels. They pretty much cover my feet and just touch the floor, they do not sit like the lady in the picture who is tall. I ordered the XL and they are snug. I normally wear a 16/18. I think they are still wearable because the elastic waist has a lot of stretch to it. But they do stretch to the max on me. If you are heavy like me it is not as cute in the waist because the ruffle look that is above the elastic gets stretched almost flat and it just doesn't look great on my shape, so I would be wearing a shirt that covers the waist. The material is extremely thin. They are polyester. The material almost feels like a window sheer. It is not super smooth like microfiber. They have a texture to them similar in feel to linen pants. These are not winter weather pants. They would be nice on a summer evening or in weather that is not cold. Overall they are nice. I LOVE these pants!! The material is thin/medium thickness... which is SOOO soft, flowy, and have an 'airy' feeling! The waist has elastic that is just PERFECT (doesn't dig-in AND not too loose). The pockets are deep and can actually hold more than you'd expect. The length is just PERFECT!! They fit true-to-size, and the 'straight-cut leg' is very flattering! They are an amazing value, too. They are a light khaki/sandy color that would go with absolutely ANYTHING! The stitching is solid - so... even though they have a delicate look without feeling fragile. I can NOT say enough about these pants. Seriously - they have moved up to 'first place' as far as my "favorites"!! These are pretty straight forward pants that match the product description. The material is thin and very flowy. Very wide legs that look almost like you are wearing a skirt at times. It has pockets which is always a plus. I got the brown color which is pretty close to that pictured on the product page. They look very well made. Unfortunately, although I used the size chart to check for measurements and ordered based on that and the fact that it had a stretchable waist line, because although the measurement listed was smaller than my waist, I figured with the stretch it would be fine. However, the waist in these pants is way too large, even without the added stretch. That hardly ever happens to me. Other than the stretch the waistline isn't adjustible. There are no loops to put a belt through. That leaves using safety pins with kind of throws off the look. They are very comfortable however so I will definitely wear them around the house safety pins and all. Read more

As a short woman - I'm 5'0" and currently about 140 lbs - I've come to accept that palazzo pants are incredibly hit-or-miss on a petite frame. Unfortunately....these were a miss. The product itself is not bad - the quality is as-expected given the price and in comparison to other items I've purchased from this brand, and the color of the item was nearly identical to what the images show; I purchased the color 'Parchment', and went with a size large hoping for less of a cropped and more of a flowy, loose fit. Unfortunately, the pants were slimmer in the hips / thighs than I expected so they were more form-fitting (not great with such a light color, especially if you're hoping to wear as part of a more dressy / professional outfit) and were somehow still too short with the hems landing at the top of my feet while standing barefoot. And the pockets....I know we all love pockets, but in pants like this - especially when they're more fitted through the hips and thighs - the pockets just make your hips more hip-y and almost pointy looking...definitely a short-girl affliction but these pants really, REALLY amplified the issue. Hence why I'm ultimately saying these pants are not bad overall, but were definitely bad for me. YMMV! I'll end this on a positive note: the elastic waist is nice and the fabric is soft. I wish these pros outweighed the cons in my case....I'd recommend still giving them a shot if you're looking for cozy palazzos that offer more of a cropped-wide-leg fit! Read more
