Excellent gloves

These are great gloves. I use these for almost all garage and shop activities to avoid tearing up my hands. The mesh on the back is very breathable and I find my hands sweat less than wearing Mechanix gloves. I’m a “ruster”; everything ferrous I touch rusts almost instantly and these help a lot with that. One must be aware that wearing any kind of gloves around spinning machinery is VERY dangerous. These have plenty of “tack” to them on the gripping surfaces, and are therefore extra dangerous in this regard. I have to remember to take them off prior to using milling machines, drill presses, etc. I’ve caught fingers up using a cordless drill a couple of times and they grab FAST! The back material is weak enough to tear away, which is a good thing. Having said all that, I will still wear these around the garage and shop; you just have to establish good work habits. These wear out faster than Mechanix, but they are so light and breathable that I think they are worth it. I can usually wear the same pair for at least a couple of weeks of shop work before I have to replace them. I’ve tried other Ansell work gloves as well and while there are some that are tougher and more cut resistant, these are still by far my favorites. Edit: I just wore these kayaking in really hot weather - they were awesome! I’ve used them for handling fish as well. They are going to be a permanent part of my outdoor and backpacking kit from now on. Read more

Bentley use these

Extremely thin, but that is by design. The total length is a bit short and so they don’t cover my wrist very well. Choose a size smaller than your measured hand size for a better fit. Read more

They are terrible

Carolyn B BunnellOctober 29, 2021✓ Verified purchase

I have been buying these gloves for quite awhile. They used to fit great, had a nice fit around the wrist. They used to be made in Sri Lanka. Now made in Vietnam! AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!! THE SIZE IS TOO BIG, THE WRIST AREA IS MADE SO CHEAP. I WILL NEVER BUY THESE AGAIN😤The one on the left is my old glove and the one on the right the new one. See how cheap the wrist band is! Light, breathable, good dexterity.

BigUglyAugust 30, 2019✓ Verified purchase

Great gloves, and I would buy them again, but out of the 24 gloves in the package, 20 of them started coming unraveled at the cuff leaving a long, thin blue thread to get tangled up in my work (nothing dangerous, the thread is too thin to draw your hand into something like rotating equipment). I put gloves on and take them off a few times a day, so maybe these aren't designed for that. If you are going to put these on one time, use them and then throw them away, these are a five-star purchase. Read more

Great tactile gloves

Ron L. ThompsonJune 30, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I have been using these gloves for 15 years now at work and at home. They are very thin and allow for detail work with your hands but strong enough to protect you from cut scrapes and pokes. Don’t plan on using them for more than two maybe three projects because they will wear quickly But they’re only about three dollars a pair. Read more
