ANTI-AGING BODY LOTION

This lotion is just okay. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly, but the moisture doesn’t last very long. It has a light scent and non-greasy. My skin felt soft at first, but a few hours later it was dry again. It is not a huge bottle and I needed to reapply more than once per day. This Rostlinna beauty anti-aging body lotion is fabulous! I've been using it on the day I shower and don't shave and I've really been enjoying it! I use it no more than once a week some times every other week. the ingredient list is excellent! It's relatively straight forward especially for those well versed in skin care ingredients. It contains niacinmide, vitamin C, retinol and a lovely variety of moisturizing/hydrating ingredients. the lotion has good fluidity to it and it effortless to apply. It absorbs well and doesn't leave that greasy lotion feeling on my body. I've been using this lotion for months now and I'm loving my results! I typically shave twice a week and some times that can irritate my skin which can lead to some random red bumps or dark spots after red bumps. That being said this lotion has been wonderful for my legs and evening my skin tone! The little dark spots and red spots I had on my legs all heal beautifully with his lotion! It has worked wonders for giving my legs back my glowing complexion! (I'm in my mid 30's for reference. Despite the potent ingredients it didn't dry my legs out or cause any burning or irritation. The lotion didn't strip the natural moisture from my legs either. It's essentially a lotion serum combo for my legs/whole body! I wouldn't use it for my face but, it has been wonderful for the rest of my body! Overall, I am very happy with this body lotion! It's potent, effective and hydrating! This body lotion has great ingredients! Has Retinol, which is great for aging skin, but be extra careful with sun exposure. Has a strong scent of what I'm assuming is the Ylang ylang oil. Simple plastic bottle with a pump. Made in India. Goes on shiny first, then gives me glowing skin. Absorbs fast and lightweight, so not a thick cream. Works well on my extra dry patches on my knees and elbows, so very hydrating, even for a dry climate. I deducted a star because it is so expensive at $149. Read more

This arrived a solid mess. The lotion was thick, goopy and brown. There was a horrible smell when opened as if it had spoiled or gone rancid. Loton would not come through the pump. Threw it away. Read more

I was skeptical about this lotion - not sure of the high price - but selected it for limited ingredients and the “anti-aging” claim. The lotion is thick and is easily absorbed by skin. It does leave a bit of shimmer and the ylang ylang scent comes thru stronger than the lavender. My skin looked moisturized and hydrated throughout the day. This lotion quickly became part of my morning skincare routine. I primarily use it on my arms and belly to firm the skin. Based on my experience, it does the job. I invest a lot of time into my skincare. This is something that I have done faithfully since my twenties. So far, I feel good about my routine skincare treatments. This would include body/face. When I saw this ROSTLINNA firming body lotion, I was intrigued. I viewed the "information" about what the "claims" were, and I will say that right away, I was disappointed in the lack of "scientific proof" or "evidence of poll results" - something that would substantiate real results. That is something I always look at first. I ordered this with the hopes more details would be enclosed. Now that I have this home and see that it is very simple, lacking "real" proof of "real results" left me not feeling too confident about what results would occur. Nevertheless, I opened the bottle and smelled the contents. I did not like it one bit. Sometimes with different ingredients that are natural, scents can be off-putting at first, but the results may well be worth the little unpleasantness of it. After having used this now for almost a month, I see no real difference. I may be more critical than others regarding lotions/serums and beauty products-- but that is because I have been involved in that industry before and have high expectations due to my experience. If I had found great results, that is what I would report. I find the price point is too high for the little information that is provided to substantiate its claims. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but to me, the quality of this body lotion is excellent. It's not too thick in consistency, just a tiny bit greasy, absorbs in seconds, has a yellow tinge - so much so that I suspected Turmeric being an ingredient... so I checked with the list and no - no Turmeric. But what I did see was a formula that (apart from Peptides, Hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, Retinol, Squalene and vitamins) also has some of my favorite things, such as Sweet Almond oil, Green Tea extract, Calendula extract, Lavender essential oil and Ylang Ylang oil (which I love for its wonderful aroma, but here it is not noticeable). Unfortunately, the lotion smells like Retinol and (alas!) not like Lavender or Ylang Ylang; overall, the smell is not too unpleasant, but not too appealing either. I am taking one star off for that: I like my lotions pleasantly perfumed with natural oils or flower extracts and this one is not.
