This stuff is a miracle in a bottle. I had an itchy scalp for quite some time and the itchiness would increase any time I ate carbs. I suspected that I had a scalp fungal infection. After a few days/weeks of using this on my scalp the itchiness and irritation is gone. I know that this works because every time I got out of the shower my scalp, ears, forhead, cheeks were covered in a crust/scale that would peel off. After a month it is completely gone. The smell is also amazing and it has refreshing menthol that feels great on the skin. It is THE BEST if you want to truly get rid of a fungal infection. So far this is a horrible scented body wash. It smells like the stuff you use to disinfect the floors. I will keep using for at least a month to see if it works. I stand by the comment above; however I am used to the smell now. The product works well on keeping the skin healthy looking without drying. It didn’t work for Tinea Versicolor. Product works better than expected. I’m using it for a fungus on my beard and it actually gone. I was hesitant because strong odors tend to trigger my allergies, but this product is so gentle with its odors that I barely notice it. Read more
This is the Best stuff that works! Tolfanate 1% roots out ringworm spores. After getting a ringworm rash under my leg brace device, I did all the wrong things before recognizing it was ringworm. Thus moisturizers and hydrocortisone fed my ringworm for a week (and boy did it spread.) I’m sure it was helped by my immunosuppressed status from MS drugs. Second week I tried Clotrimazole, Rx nystatin, otc miconazole (lotrimin), fungal wash, terbinafine hydrochloride and butenafine hydrochloride with very limited success. Nothing touched it. It was out of control and spread to my face! Third week I found Tinactin with tolnaftate 1% and Probliva body wash with 1% tolnaftate. Total game changers. As a commenter suggested, I put it on ten minutes before showering. Hint - rinse your hands off before applying the soap on a different affected area so as not to reinfect. Yes. Rinsing off may sting. Small price to pay. I dry off completely and finish with Tinactin liquid spray with tolnaftate 1%. I Finally see end in sight. I use this about once a week to prevent ringworm as I live in a tropical climate. Stings if you get it in your eyes but smells good and isn’t slippery which is nice for feet application in the shower. Lasts a long time, you only need a bit and foams and lathers well. Read more
