So cute for my boho decor! I like to have a mix of a bunch of different pillows with different patterns and textures. This was my newest addition to my eclectic pillow mix. It is just so well made. The fabric and zipper feel really durable, and the stitching and embroidery are impeccable. There were no loose threads and the embroidery is really thick and soft as well, which was a pleasant surprise, and provides a really nice contrast to the cream colored background. I can say that I wish the pattern was on both sides, but it’s such a pretty design that it’s not that big of a deal. I like this so much that I am going to end up purchasing another on my own. I’m thrilled to report that this pillowcase is even better than I imagined. It looks very high-end and beautiful, and the embroidered design gives it a custom, textured look and feel. The motif is whimsical and lovely — perfect for any room. I put mine on the bed, which has sage green sheets in the same tone, but it would also look amazing in a living room, office — anywhere! One thing I didn’t even notice at first was the two little embroidered birds in the bottom corners. I initially thought it was just plants and botanicals, but the bird detail makes it even more beautiful and magical. Just a heads-up: this is for one pillowcase, so you’ll need to purchase a pillow insert separately. Right now, you can find inserts for under $5 on Amazon, so the total cost for both is under $20 — which I think is a steal for something so stylish and unique. Something as small and seemingly unimportant as a pillow can actually make an entire room. It completely transformed my bedroom in fact! I had a cream bedspread with sage green sheets and neutral accent pillows, and just tossing this one pillow on the bed pulled the whole look together effortlessly. This cover is lovely. It comes folded so it will need to be ironed or steamed. The embroidery is overall well done, but there are a couple of imperfections, loose loops. This gives it a bit more of a handmade feeling vs factory. The base material feels like a thick cotton canvas, not soft. There are fewer shades of blue used in the embroidery than in the listing photos, but otherwise the colors are true. It’s sewn well and the zipper opens & closes easily.
