I never write Amazon reviews, but I had to for this. The photos I’ve added are a TWO DAY difference. The tiny bumps have disappeared and the redness on my face has already gone down. I’m a 26 year old woman and have a sensitive, slightly dry/dehydrated face and I’ve messed my skin barrier up by over-exfoliating it (would exfoliate it several times a week bc I loved how soft it made my face, not realizing I was damaging it). SEEMINGLY EVERY PRODUCT EVER burns my face, makes it more red, gives me little pimples, no matter if the product claimed to be good for sensitive skin or not. My skin INSTANTLY loved this moisturizer. My face, for the first time in years, feels COOL, not warm. I use about a dime size amount when applying, and my skin stays moisturized for about half a day. I apply twice a day. This stuff has made me a happier person in general lol I get SO EXCITED everyday to apply it. I love this moisturizer!! I have VERY sensitive skin and dry skin year round, and this works for any season. It doesn’t have a scent and is very moisturizing, so I don’t need to reapply in the winter. It’s pretty light weight too so there’s no greasiness, and instead leaves you with a nice glow and even skin tone. It doesn’t great under makeup and doesn’t pill up either. I've been using Anua products for about a year and three months, and this cream in particular has been my favorite for moisturizing! I remember that the first week I used two layers of this moisturizer, but my face quickly realized it didn't need extra layers; just one was enough to make my skin look amazing! But today I'm going to tell you about my horror experience with a product I accidentally used that was expired! Unfortunately, I suffered burns and irritation! Without any guidance, my face was burning, and I researched what I could use to soothe my terrible accident. The solution was very clear: use a repairing moisturizer several times a day for seven days and don't use any other products, no makeup, no serums—just a repairing moisturizer that doesn't contain a lot of chemicals! Well, I used this cream, and the first day I cried when I saw my face so irritated and burning, but this cream impressed me. Just 24 hours later, my face was no longer red! I still felt irritation, but there were no visible signs that anything had happened! I continued applying the cream several times a day, and honestly, by day 5 I no longer felt any irritation. My skin was completely repaired. I added the Anua rice toner and serum to my routine and continued for another 4 days as a precaution. And now I can say that I'm completely free of any damage. I can now use other types of serums without feeling like my skin is damaged or that it might get irritated. I have to say that I have been incredibly pleased with this moisturizer! I have been using this for nearly two months and I’ve genuinely never been as pleased with a moisturizer at all. I have very oily skin (thanks, PCOS) and even the purported lightest weight moisturizers have ended up making my oils feel far too emphasized by the end of the day, and often quite soon after applying. This product is lightweight and ultra soft feeling right upon application, and is easily absorbed without disappearing into nothing. It has never once felt too heavy, and hasn’t felt like I’ve wasted my time with something that was glorified water either. I haven’t noticed any miraculous changes in my skin in regard to reduction of fine lines, texture etc. But I am a landscaper and have exposed my skin to harsh and rigorous sunshine, with tons of squinting and crinkling up my face, and so it will take thousands of dollars worth of lasers, Botox etc to wrest me back to some youthful like skin, lol. But this moisturizer really and truly delivers in regard to overall moisturizing and softness without feeling heavy or slimy, which is unusual and a win/win for me!
