Am I using it properly...
Well, unless I'm not doing it right, it doesn't seem to work as well as I thought it would. I sharpened my filet knife, but afterwards when I used it I really didn't see a difference. Again, I may be using it wrong, but if I'm not then nope it's not what I expected. The suction cup works great though - once it's suctioned to a surface it's a bit hard to release it, which is a good thing because it definitely stays in place and won't slip while sharpening a knife. Easy to use.
This sharpener is really easy to use. Clamp it onto the tabletop and just glide your dull bladed knife thru a few times and test the new sharpness of the blade. For such a simple device I was able to sharpen our pocketknives in less than a minute. Read more
