I’ve had sizing inconsistencies with this brand before, so I cautiously ordered an X-Large in the blue gingham set. As it turns out, I probably should have gone with a Large this time. The XL fits a bit loose—more relaxed than expected—but not in a bad way, depending on how you plan to wear it. First, the positives: the fabric (75% polyamide, 25% elastane) feels soft and smooth against the skin. The light blue and white gingham is bright, cheerful, and perfect for spring and summer vibes. It’s definitely cute enough to wear beyond the gym—errands, lounging, or casual meetups all work. The scoop neckline is modest, which I personally appreciate. It doesn’t dip too low or show excessive cleavage, so I feel comfortable bending or moving around without worrying. Even with the looser XL fit, nothing shows when I lift my arms overhead. Where it falls a little short for me is the under band. Instead of a wide, supportive band, it has more of a thin elastic with a tucked fabric effect. I would have preferred something thicker and more structured for better support. The removable pads are the standard type you find in many sports tops—functional but nothing special. Because of the looser fit, I’d say this set is better suited for low-impact workouts, yoga, or casual wear. I’d feel hesitant wearing it for high-impact cardio or running. The 5" high-waisted shorts also run a bit roomy in XL, though they still hug my lower body nicely without creating a muffin-top effect. A Large would have likely given me a more secure, sculpted fit. The care tags say hand wash and do not tumble dry, but since I needed a little shrinkage, I washed in warm water and tumble dried on normal heat. They did shrink slightly and held up fine, which helped improve the fit a bit. Overall, this is a stylish, comfortable matching set that works great for lounging, travel, yoga, or light workouts. Mine arrived with damage to the bra, a rip in fabric. I also feel like it fit small. I got a size large - I am 5’6 and weigh 168. The color and print is adorable, however I feel very insecure in this, and I’m not that kind of person, so this will be going back because I only keep clothes I feel my best in. This 2-piece outfit is one of the most comfiest outfits I've bough in a long time. The top is slightly padded but nothing crazy and the bottoms are soft and have a good amount of tummy control. They are only missing a pocket for my phone, but that wasn't a deal breaker. The pattern is so adorable and I just wear it under a large tanktop in warm weather. The only slight issue is after one wear, there is some material wearing thin where my thighs have some chub rub. This was not what I was expecting at all, as you can see the top fits nothing like the picture. The elastic is at the bottom of the top and it rolls under my breast instead of laying flat like in the picture. The material is soft and the bottoms fit pretty good but the top will not work. Just to take this picture I had to put my bra on with the top because when I tried to fix it like the picture everything was spilling out of the top, when I pulled it back up my breast were coming out of the bottom. The top is not worth the trouble, but I will wear the bottoms. Read more
