ApexDesk K Series 60 3 Stage with Dual Motor Electric Adjustable Standing Desk for Home and Office Width

The frame came on time and was extremely easy to setup. I love that the hardware looked heavy duty and was high quality. When the desk was completely setup and ready to operate, I got an error message on the controller. It was impossible to phone the company . . . no one answered and the automated system kept going in circles. "Does ANYONE work there" I was yelling to myself. I finally sent an email about the issue and it was answered in 6 hours or so with the simple fix. All is forgiven since the desk base is so good. When I searched the Web for solution to this problem I noticed there were others with the same issue, but no one reported the solution. Here it is in case it happens to you so you can get right to work enjoying your new desk: (1) Press and hold the "M" button for 4 seconds or until you see "- 1-" on the LED screen. (2) Press the UP button to go to "- 2 -". (3) Press the "M" button to enter into "- 2 -" menu option. (4) You'll see that the LED screen reads "On". Press the UP or DOWN button to go to "oFF". Now press and hold the "M" button for a few seconds or until you see "oFF" flashing two times and reverts back to displaying current height position. You're now all set. Two suggestions to ApexDesk - (1) Put the E13 error code on you list of errors. (2) Illuminate the control panel (my biggest gripe). I can't see the proper area to press most of the time, and there is no tactile indication of where to press when you can't see it. Other than that, good work ApexDesk. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a great base to build your own custom desktop. The package arrived on time and the packaging was absolutely perfect. Everything was wrapped in plastic and then set in foam. The packaging included all hardware needed if you use one of the ApexDesk tops. I built my own out of 3/4 inch oak plywood, so I had to purchase 14 - #12, 3/4 inch pan head wood screws, which was expected. The desk is very sturdy even when it is at full height. To operate the memory settings you simply click the memory number of your desired height. The controller goes to sleep and will show no display until you click the button once. So, when I am at my sitting height going about my day, and want to stand, I do the following: 1. Click the memory button that I set for the standing setting (in my case it is #2). This will wake up the controller display, and I will see my sitting height in inches. 2. Click the same button, two times. The second time it to confirm you indeed want the desk height to change. I think the controller works great as it prevents accidental presses and changes in height. I had set my expectations a bit low for this since I had never heard of the brand before. However, based on other reviews and the company's website I decided to pull the trigger. I'm more than pleased with this purchase. As others had stated it arrived in a couple of different boxes. I think I'm fortunate to not have had any damage. The packaging was pretty well intact. There were no flaws in any of the pieces either. Installation was relatively easy. However, this desk is very heavy. You have to keep that in mind when you determine where you want to place this. It really needs to be put together in place unless you have someone to help you move it. Overall, I'm very happy and I would have no issue with recommending this to others. I have not used these legs for very long, but here is my first impression. PROS: Amazing quality frame Very stable at 47inch setting for a 6 foot 3 tall man. Looks great Simple to set up Great value for the price Quiet fast operation CONS: Re-initializing the motor is a bit wonky The memory settings can be buggy at times Hardly any cable management I would recommend these desk legs to any one. This is built very well. Beautiful top and easy to use. I love the rounded edges and curved corners. Large enough to fit a small file cabinet underneath without interfering with leg space. I also was able to add a pull out drawer to give me more writing space. Highly recommend this product. Read more

During these crazy times, it is so important to have a good work desk/table at home. Spent a very good amount (with what little money I have) on this with my own money. Okay work table, not worth the money spent though. Functions okay, kinda loud when adjusting heights. The two plastic hole covers have fallen out multiple times, feels cheap. Should be better fit and more secured. Worse part is missing washers. Very frustrating that I had to drive to Home improvement store for assembly parts! Silver washers with black screws and black leg frame is just not cool. Will update later after longer use. Read more

This desk is very comparable in quality to what we're used to in the office (we have to work remote now, so this is used at home), and the "rustic gray" is a great color. Assembly was a little challenging, which is not surprising given the nature of the desk and I doubt it's any better or worse than any other electric standing desk. Shipping was the only part we were confused about, and the seller was very responsive questions--they disclose it in advance, but heads up this came in two boxes a week or two apart. The first delivery came well before the estimated delivery date range, and the second delivery came at the beginning of the estimated delivery date range. Worked well for a year but then both motors stopped working. Now it's forever a desk to sit at Would avoid next time and get something more reliable like AMQ. Read more
