Ok so we live in an older home. Some electric has been replaced. The window ac unit we have has a cord that will not physically fit in the space between the outlet and the baseboard heater right below it. I needed a heavy duty appliance cord that had a shorter hard rubber/plastic profile the plug so the cord would fit into the outlet. This one worked perfectly. And it has phone charger ports. What a bonus to have surge protection, heat protection, overload protection, fire protection etc! I like that each individual outlet on this can be turned off to let the rest work. If this sets off and stops working, I have to physically inspect everything and fix whatever problem there is then hit the reset button. It actually gives me a little bit of peace of mind. Excellent power strip for kitchen appliances. This is great for countertops, especially if you’re using a toaster oven & a microwave oven. It has separate shutoff switches for each outlet . Not to mention usb & c ports . Very sturdy cord as well. This is well with the price 🙂 Read more

I am using this cord in my kitchen coffee bar. Using my grinder, espresso machine, and even my electric teapot is much more efficient and streamlined. Because of the 1875w rating, I have my toaster/oven/airfryer plugged in on the same counter. Being able to turn off each appliance can help with phantom power pull if thats a concern. I've even charged my flashlight using the usb ports. I love the convenience of having my drink station in one place.I did have a question and the seller is prompt and willing to help with any issues. My kitchen outlet is stuck behind a big chest freezer, so unplugging and swapping appliances was a pain. I wanted something where I could just flip switches instead. This works great for that. I’ve got an electric kettle, convection oven, blender, and rice cooker plugged in, and being able to turn each one on and off without moving anything is super convenient. The light-up switches make it easy to see what’s on at a glance. The USB ports are also handy for charging smaller stuff in the kitchen, which I didn’t think I’d use as much as I do.
