I was very impressed with this, often times with Halloween costumes you don't get as good quality as you do and something is being sold as a cosplay or a LARPing item which is ridiculous because either one they're all just a type of costumes... But this definitely isn't your run-of-the-mill corset accessory that you would get it Spirit Halloween this is actually very well made. The embossing on the corset itself is very very pretty it's subtle and you can't necessarily see even far away but if you're up close it's very obvious and it creates a very pretty flowing pattern around your waist so it's not just giving you a snatched look, The Vines offee whimsy and help to taper your waist even more... Without also squeezing the crap out of you. I love the ability to have these straps go over your shoulders so it's also not your run of the mill typical corset felt look it's a little bit closer to a harness and it's definitely not something I would expect a whole lot of people to have so that makes it unique and fun. The color in the hardware definitely make this something that you can wear not just as cosplaying or LARPing or Halloween but you can genuinely pair it with regular outfits that you want to have a little something extra for. But shipping was quick quality excellent and looks identical to go to the picture I would definitely highly recommend. Read more

Great accessory for my Halloween costume. Flexible and easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Material isn't the greatest and won't last forever, especially with frequent use but it is a good value for the price. Could work for a variety of costumes (pirate, steampunk, witch, barmaid, archer, etc). Fit is good but could have sized down. I wear a size 10-12 jean (11 juniors) if that is a helpful reference. So I REALLY wanted to like this corset. It had just enough of a medieval meets steampunk vibe to make my Ren costume really unique. Unfortunately for me, though, the designers enlarged the span of the circumference with the larger sizes, as in adding extra material to the back belt part, but did not account for the increased cup size or width of the waist by increasing the size of the two faux leather panels in the front. The result is that the waist part fit ok, but the suspenders were far too short, causing an issue with the straps digging my breasts off by a third, and the front panels were not aesthetically aligned. Awkward, to say the least. I suppose that if I were smaller than a 38H I probably wouldn't have this problem, but there it is. 3 stars because it is a great concept, but it just didn't work for me. This is perfect for that medieval/Renaissance/Pirate cosplay. The material is that thin faux pleather. The fit is true to size, and it was so easy to put on. There are buttons on the back of the band that also have a slight stretch. It is exactly as shown, and the details look decent on the brown. It would look even better if it were embroidered on, but I digress. It accentuates the bust and looks really nice! It elevates the outfits look. I had no discomfort and was able to wear it for hours. I am reviewing "Corset Belt for Women, Elastic Waist Lace-up Faux Leather Gothic Costume Waspie Corset Belt for Renaissance Cosplay". This is a cute piece for a costume or RenFest outfit. It's adjustable via the lacing, the halter strap behind your neck, and by virtue of the elastic back part. I wish the neck strap could be adjusted by the hardware in front rather than behind the neck, because depending on what hole you need to use, the buckle can end up off-center, which feels weird to me. Also, there is no sliding band to hold the "extra" strap after you buckle, so it just sticks out and flops around. I might try to find a band or maybe attach a dot of velcro to hold it down, but that style of buckle should have a band the you can slide the free end of the strap into. Other than that, it looks really pretty. The materials are sturdy and the sewing/construction look like they will last through several seasons of wear. So overall, I recommend this. It fit true to size but if you're between sized, you could probably size down for this piece since it's elastic and allows for the other adjustments. Read more

The corset is nice and comfortable. I like that it is stretchy and I like that the shoulder straps are adjustable. The buckle on the shoulder strap catches my hair though and gets tangled when I try to look down so be aware if you have shoulder length or longer hair. It pulls on your neck a bit in a way that would cause you to lean your head forwards over time so be aware that you may feel neck strain, but otherwise for comfort and style it is great, just maybe make sure to sit up straight!
