Worked for two months. Then just suddenly stopped turning on. From the beginning it would take a second to turn on which wasn't bad. Just a little annoying. But sometimes it wouldn't at all. I would have to repeat the batteries and try a couple times before it would actually turn on. Then one day it just won't turn on anymore no matter what I did. It's an absolute disappointment. Works great so far! Was running my Amaran 300c on 2 BP- 95 watt V Mounts. Ran my light @ 100% for about 2 hours and the battery still has more than half the battery to go. Only down side is that you need 2 batteries to power your light and quick release clamp is over priced and is sold separately. I don’t recommend using small rig v mount batteries. Read more
I was having an issue with several ZGCine V99 batteries not working properly when attached to this unit. They were 100% charged and working but once they were attached to the Battery Station, they seemed to be dead. It looks like there are electric burn marks on the battery connections, which indicate some sort of short is happening. Other batteries seem to work but those do not! Not sure whats going on. Had the 1st unit replaced and the same happened with the replacement. Read more
I have spent thousands of dollars on aputure products almost every lighting fixture is aputure and all my shotgun microphones are the diety s-mic 2. I usually have power to plug my fixtures into but I knew I had a shoot that I was going to need this for and I waited to test if it worked like a dummy and low and behold it has never powered a single light. The fan and green indicator light turn on but not the lights. Even with two identical v mount batteries that are said to be compatible it has never turned on. I hope aputure makes this right after all I have supported this company. Read more
Thought I didn’t get the correct one but after breaking my head figuring this thing out I finally came to the conclusion that the bottom part didn’t attach to the batteries it’s like I had to make sure those pins attached correctly. During a wedding it did work but it was a struggle, I will give it another shoot with a replacement but I hope this thing works like it should. The box came in looking like it was already used ? Won't turn on and continues to make the screens go blank on my batteries. Came looking like a brand new product and not already used but couldn't get it to work so I'll see if the exchange works Read more
