I've been unwell for the last 3 years and have gained a lot of weight around my middle! yuk. None of my swimsuits fit any longer but my doctor wants me to take up swimming again. I ordered the large (I am 5'4 & 157lbs) following others' reviews and it fits perfectly! It also makes me look slimmer and feels very comfortable and secure. The fabric feels solid with a little rushing around the middle but not so much as to make the suit heavy. The bra holds everything in place and makes me look younger. I like the materials feel and the style of this suit, though the “tummy control” is minimal and the slimmer cut through the butt allows ones ‘cheeks’ to be semi exposed. Buying a bathing suit as a mature 40 something mother of 2 is never fun plus I’m 5’9” with a long torso so 1 piece suits always tend to pull uncomfortably but this bathing Is comfy and flattering! The square neck and thick permanent cups flatter my small c-cups that don’t sit where they use to. The ruched tummy area doesn’t have much “control” in my opinion but thats the one thing I actually don’t need and the ruching is enough to hide a little fluff.
