Never cared for the regular Aqua Velva, too harsh this shares characteristics with the original of course but the musk makes it much better. I usually put it on after a shower just to smell decent around the house or to make a quick run to the store. I have tons of expensive colognes but still love this. Lasts about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs which is great for an aftershave and the smell is decent! 👍 Read more

Scent is decent but nowhere near as strong as their other ones. The bottle seems to be shaped differently that it always spills a little off the side and needs to be rinsed before putting away. Read more

Recently got into Wet Shaving and have acquired a short list of the classic aftershaves and this one still remains one of my favorites along with the blue colored original. Even though I always try to pair my shave soaps with matching aftershaves I still on occasion will use an unscented version or soap and will choose one of the classic splash-ons and once I tried this I keep finding myself using it more and more. It has an excellent old school scent that has a small hint of citrus overtop the musk that makes an excellent all-around combination for any occasion.
