Gorgeous, calming, and amusing

I watch this gorgeous saltwater aquarium over and over, again and again! It is calming, even mesmerizing. And it makes me laugh! My TV is set for captioning as I am hearing-impaired, so I can't help but smile when I see "[bubble]" or "[bloop]" appear, whether it's in background mode as I walk past with laundry or primary viewing as I sit and chill in front of the screen. And it is the biggest, cleanest, and easiest aquarium I've ever had to care for in my life! 😃 Read more

Great background ambience

I watch this for free with Amazon Prime. I really like this "screensaver". It is an hour, I use it to gauge my gaming time without having to really pay attention to the clock. My cat likes watching it too. It is soothing to listen to and watch. There is no music, only the aquarium sounds. I don't like the ones with music. I watch this one a couple times per day on average. I do not like dead silence, so this is great if you are bothered by that too. Read more

Purty Good Little Fishees On Thu TV

This is an awesome movie. A lot of really interesting, complex characters and a plot that just won't quit. Don't get too comfortable though, because just as soon as you start to relax the action kickstarts again. Like that dude that likes to scratch himself on top of the corral. Oh, what a little stinker he is. My only complaint is the cliffhanger of an ending. I wish things could have been tied up a little better. Like whatever happened to the boyfriend who had a meth problem in the first half of the movie. We never find out if he kicked the habit. Read more

awful

after a long day of work i just wanted to relax with a good chick flick, or maybe a horror film, or maybe both. Aquarium for your Home was neither! awful!! the plot line was completely static and the dialogue was really stilted, basically whenever there was an argument they just blew bubbles at each other. the passion just wasn't there but what can you expect when EVERYBODY ON THE FREAKING SCREEN IS A FISH. what kind of "experimental" film is this?? they should have tried throwing hillary duff in there i think she would have been great as the arch-nemesis instead of that stupid purple fish. to be fair the costumes and make up were pretty great. but really guys... FISH. REALLY. come on, you can do better than that. you could have put in a least one freaking car chase, is that too much to ask. what a waste of my time. you set yourself up for failure by HIRING FISH TO BE YOUR ACTORS, i don't know how any of you thought this would be a good idea. it was so hard for me to follow what was going on i kept getting lost. but i was following it enough to know that also, the plot twist at the end was really uncalled for. the fish couldn't convey the right amount of emotional tact that was needed for such a drama filled scene. this movie was NOT a no. 1 hit with me, it would be MUCH farther down the last than a 5, but they only gave me five stars to work with here. i wish they'd give me 58 stars, cuz id use them all. Aquarium for your Home, YOU ARE A FLOP. Read more

more like a screensaver) got

I really could not believe the reviews this little film (if you can call it that, more like a screensaver) got. The reviews here on Prime are usually good and help me decide to watch a specific movie, but man, these reviews really failed me this time, totally misleading. I thought it was a movie about an aquarium being built and filmed as time passes showing how it flourished (like the description says), but this thing doesn't even have narration, the camera is only filming the center of the aquarium (not sure if the rest of the movie shows different angles because I turned it off after only a few minutes of the same boring stuff - my freshwater aquarium is more interesting than this). This is just a screensaver folks, don't waste any money on this, unless you are using it for relaxation or whatever. I just feel the description and the reviews are too misleading and some of the reviews sound too "fishy" to me (ha-ha), like they were written by freelance writers who sell reviews. Just a screensaver, not a movie or documentary; just fish swimming around, no narration, no story line or plot - just a screensaver. Read more
