It did what it was designed to do. Our fish loved it! They Ate for 7 days while we were on vacation! No worries. Just dropped it in the tank and left. It worked! We will purchase these from now on for every vacation. A very inexpensive fish sitter. Read more
Maybe they will last seven days for regular goldfish, but my fish are greedy. They gobbled it up in two days, and I wasn't even on vacation. I have bought this product before, and will continue to buy it because my fish love it. But before going on vacation, I will make sure to drop 2 or 3 into the tank. I had a one gallon wall aquarium with two goldfish in it. I placed one vacation feeder in it when I left on vacation. I came back 4 days later and the water was fouled, one of the fish was barely hanging on, and the other was dead. The block had dissolved about 1/2 way and there was food and debris everywhere. I do not recall any instructions on how to use in a smaller tank. My advice would be don't. Read more
