Absolutely gorgeous and stunning in my opinion. The material is very soft and still light weight enough to not feel overwhelming with its baggy/loose style. The gold buttons are beautiful and come with an extra. The off white color still seems like an ivory or cream, but without any of the yellow undertones, and is much more of a subdued white. I wore this sweater the same day it arrived, plus the next day. It’s wonderful! However, my first reaction was that it looked too big, that is, before I put it on. Once on and buttoned up, it both looked and felt great on. The oversized fit worked on me… as the sleeves were the right length (with a cuff), and I’m only 5’3”. Being short, I find that sleeves are often too long on me. But this sweater was an oversized design that actually works fine on my frame. It is not the type of oversized sweater that swamps my stature. I also hesitated on the Wine color when ordering, as I usually don’t order shades like Wine, but opt instead for black, grey, and other neutrals. Well, this Wine color is actually very pretty on me, and it just made me feel good. Who knew!? So it’s time to expand my color palette, from the colors I usually order, and try new colors! Also, the gold buttons are gorgeous, and they actually garnered compliments as I stood talking to a friend. She thought they were beautiful. And they are. I accessorized with some gold necklaces, both long and short, of the same rich gold color. They perfectly complemented the gold buttons, making this sweater even more of a showstopper. And lastly, it felt so good on that I didn’t even take it off when I got home, where I typically change into comfy sweats or lounge apparel to hang out. This sweater felt so cozy and soft on me that I didn’t want to remove it as I watched TV. The weight of the sweater is just right… It’s not too thin or too thick. My hope is that its blend of 5%Wool, 20%Viscose, 30%Anti-Pilling Acrylic, and 45%Nylon will remain smooth without pilling over time. As for my experience thus far, I love this classy-looking sweater and will always wear it buttoned rather than as a cardigan. Often times I am very cautious of anything woolen as it has in the past caused me to have reactions, so I was kind of hesitant to try out this product. Upon first sight of the garment after it arrived it looked larger than I had anticipated but when I put it on and buttoned it I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was unlike other woolen garments I have tried the fabric of this one does not have that rough itchy feeling that normally comes with most woolen products. To be honest I at first had to triple check the tag as it felt more like synthetic fibers than wool. The fabric is an amazing quality, and it is so soft making you just want to bury yourself into the sweater. It is loose enough to wear another blouse underneath it or just to wear it on its own. Great for sitting on your porch in fall or winter mornings enjoying coffee or just going out on the town. The sweater unlike other woolen items is quite light yet do not let the weight of the garment fool you it is still warm and cozy feeling. I chose a beautiful khaki color as it would go with other garments in my wardrobe color is still vibrant after washing and buttons held up well after the cycle. No noticeable wear or snags present. All in all, a great garment for a great price I do not regret getting this in the slightest and am proud to say I have my first woolen item that I can happily wear without any side effects. This oversized cardigan is cozy and comfortable, and I really like that it's a wool blend - it feels warm without being too heavy. One small but very appreciated detail: there are no tags sewn into the sweater, which is such a relief. I didn't have to cut anything out or deal with itchy tags, which instantly made it more comfortable to wear. The fit is loose and baggy in a good way, and it works well styled either buttoned up or worn open (I attached photos of both). It's easy to throw on for a casual, relaxed look while still feeling put together. I took off one star because the gold buttons feel a bit inexpensive and plasticky, which stands out against an otherwise nice sweater. That said, for the price, I still think it's a good value. I ordered this in a size medium and it was too big for both my daughters, one is 5'4" and the other 5'8". They still have smaller shoulders since they are younger (my oldest is 15 years) and so it was just hanging on them. I tried it on and was surprised it fit. I am 6' tall and most arm lengths are too short for me. I think it's because the style is baggy, long sleeves and that gives it the extra length I need. It doesn't go as long on me as it hits closer to my waist then the model in the advertisement but l think it is still a nice length for taller women. I love the material. It's soft and cozy. It comes with an extra button. My daughter especially liked the buttons. My only complaint is that it's advertised as wool complete with pictures of sheep but it's only 5% wool according to the tag (pic). It's mostly nylon. It does have a nice feel to the material though. Overall I like it quite a bit and I'm glad that I got to keep it instead of my daughters. LOL. It's nice to have a stylish, warm cardigan that I can quickly grab and wear on cooler evenings. Read more
