My husband got this for me as I am an artist that participates in Plein Air events. This just means I paint outside and on hot days I just stand there and bake! I thought this seemed a tad crazy and I already lug so much around that things need to truly justify their added weight … this is worth its weight for sure on hot days. I was afraid it would be heavy or annoying around my neck, but nope I don’t mind the feel of it at all. It blows nice cool air which works amazingly well to keep me comfortable and the charge lasts for hours. Love it this is perfect for any outdoor event to help you keep your cool on sweltering hot days! Read more

I picked up the Arctic Air Wearable Personal Air Cooler hoping for some relief during hot commutes and long walks, and here’s my honest take after using it for a couple weeks. Design & Comfort: The design is sleek and lightweight. It sits comfortably around the neck without feeling bulky or heavy, and the adjustable vents are a nice touch. The soft-touch plastic gives it a quality feel, and the controls are simple and intuitive. Cooling Performance: On lower settings, the airflow is subtle but noticeable. On high, it does a decent job of cooling your neck and face area. It’s not air conditioning by any means, but more like a gentle breeze on a hot day — refreshing, but not game-changing. Still, it’s surprisingly effective when you’re on the go or in a stuffy space. Read more

Overall this neck cooling unit does what it is supposed to do but not for very long. The cooling plate on the neck gets very chilly helping to give the overall feeling of being cooled. The fans on the neck blow a gentle breeze to help with the evaporative cooling. The noise level is low especially for something that is blowing right next to your ears. The ergonomic design spreads the weight across your shoulders making it comfortable to wear. Now the downside, the battery life is not good. After a couple of hours even on the lowest settings the device just stops. No warning beeps it just stops blowing and cooling. The charging time seems to be twice as long as the usage time. I will use it as much as I can this summer but will need to be judicious on how long knowing the limited battery life. Read more

I absolutely love the Arctic Air Freedom Personal Air Cooler! It’s one of those products you don’t realize you need until you try it — and then you wonder how you lived without it. The hands-free, wearable neck design is incredibly comfortable and perfectly balanced, so it doesn’t feel heavy or awkward even after long use. The 3-speed settings are fantastic, letting you choose just the right level of airflow depending on the heat. It delivers a surprisingly strong and refreshing breeze, especially for something so compact and portable. Whether I’m doing chores, walking outside, traveling, or just relaxing at home, it keeps me cool without needing to hold anything. The battery life is solid, and recharging is quick and easy. I also love how quiet it runs, even on higher speeds — no annoying fan noise. The build quality feels durable, and the sleek design looks modern and discreet. Overall, this is a smart, practical, and effective cooling solution. Lightweight, powerful, and easy to use — it does exactly what it promises. Five stars all the way — highly recommend for staying cool on the go! 🌬️💙 Read more

I have four of the Artic Air Freedom Touch neck fans with cooling plates. They work better than the $50/$60 ones I have used. This one has a large heat sink on the thermal plate which helps it perform better in the Arizona desert. So do I have four because love it so much? Not exactly. I have four because it has poor battery life when being used in 110 degree weather. I have 2 for my wife and 2 for myself so we can change them out when they die. If not for the short battery life I would have given it 5 stars. It would not have cost much more to have built in bypass charging. In other words the ability to use it while charging. That way you could use a large battery pack to extend the operating time. Artic Air could even add a new revenue stream by selling the battery packs. I would buy them. The bottom line is they certainly 5 stars when you consider the value. Read more
