About this item

  • PLEASE NOTE: Due to the extremely low hardness of thermally conductive pads, a more demanding installation is to be expected. Please refer to the User Manual
  • MINIMIZATION OF THERMAL RESISTANCE: The thinner the pad, the lower the thermal resistance. Thanks to its good compression properties, the very soft heat conduction pad is particularly a good heat conductor
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE: Based on silicone and a special filler, TP-3 also outperforms high-performance pads, especially when height differences of closely spaced chips
  • VERSATILE APPLICATIONS: Heat-conducting, vibration-damping, mouldable, electrically insulating - can be easily cut to size. Ideal for RAM, chipset, IC in PC, laptop, console, graphic cards
  • SAFE HANDLING: The pad contains no metal particles, is electrically insulating and non-capacitive. Handling is therefore safe, as contact with electrical parts will not cause damage

Wow!

Arctic is my go-to brand for PC cooling, and these pads are no exception. They're durable, stick well, are easy to resize and fit, and they perform admirably, provided you use them for their intended purpose. These saved my NVMe SSD from overheating issues, and saved my laptop! The VRM chips below my APU were getting scorchingly hot, but these pads performed what no other couldn't and have kept them nice and cool for months now. Great value, great product! Read more

The caveat is one must go inside:

The idea is to put this heat spreader on a SSD drive, and have it get compressed on the metal chassis of a laptop. Great idea, but many people should not go inside of their laptops. My latest and greatest laptop had the SSD drive heat already addressed with a silicone cushion, like this product, and a copper plate! In Ubuntu, install PSensor, and turn on Start Up automatically, and turn on Notifications and Alarm gate at like 70 degrees C and 80% CPU use, and put the "experimental" values in the notification area. These should work well on RAM, too. Blow out the fan regularly with compressed air, and way cool! I no longer screw around with CPUs. Mine are now soldered in and whatever cooling they have is what it is from the factory. My PSensor window is a 'hide on startup'. Remember, heat is the killer! I gave three stars for "Easy To Install." I've been in phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops, and when I do it for others, "I am not bonded/insured. I do not indemnify any damage or utter destruction that I do." I will experiment with an external M.2 PCIe enclosure, but unfortunately, the case slides over the length of the SSD. Without heat spreading/cooling, quality parts will throttle/slow down, and cheap parts will kill themselves. Back in the day, I was overclocking an Athlon Thunderbird, and had a bit of an electrical fire, I guess. Where there is smoke, there is fire, right? There are zillions of 'going inside' YouTubes, and I have a set of 'pry bars'. Knowing which screws, where to ply the clips, if any, and where things are glued (tablets), makes invasion safer. Find your exact model, and search for exact instructions with pictures and/or video. Like surgery: See one. Do one. Teach. UPDATE: These can also be used for RAM. Read more

Used it on my Fujifilm X Pro 2 camera

SilFebruary 15, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Honestly used this on my camera to decrease heat and aid in heat transfer. Specifically the Fujifilm X Pro 2 works great on the heat sink and the size does not hinder anything. Also the adhesive is awesome without residue! Always be cautious when adding to your own camera Read more

Good, but not the best for gaming laptops

JaydenSeptember 26, 2024✓ Verified purchase

Replaced the thermal paste on my laptop, runs like factory temps again, but it does seem to loose thermal conductivity when it warms up, when I replaced my ps3's thermal paste with the pads it worked beautifully though, running cooler than factory Read more

Just what I was looking for

I got these 1.5mm pads for the VRMs of an ASUS Phoenix RTX 3060. I was taking it apart to replace a faulty fan and took the opportunity to replace the pads, which were a bit dry and flaky. These new pads did seem like a perfect fit for my particular use case. They're super easy to cut to the desired size with a precision knife. You do want to cut on a surface that can handle a sharp blade (like my silicone soldering mat), or at least on a clean and smooth surface you don't mind damaging. I had no trouble removing the adhesive films with said knife also, and the pads did stay well put on the heatsink. They're soft and delicate though, so you really want to handle them with care and avoid pinching them or applying any unnecessary pressure, especially with thinner variants. You may notice a bit of pad not making full contact with a choke in one of the photos. That's just the very corner of the pad, and it got that way due to user error. It is otherwise making good contact with the chokes; I just wanted to clarify this in case you noticed. I can't directly monitor the temps of the VRMs in my particular card, but it has been over two weeks of heavy use and I haven't had any issues. I'm pretty confident the pads are doing their job well and that they'll continue to do so for a good while. We'll see. Read more

1mm Thermal Pads in laptop

RmMay 15, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Nice and easy thermal pads to cut that I put in my MSI GS75 laptop. Seems to be working good, in addition I was also able to clean the fans and apply MX-6 as well :) Maybe the 1.5 thicknesss would have worked as well but it looked close enough. Didn’t want to take apart everything again. Still have a little extra left to in my specific case, thought I read that they do eventually degrade over time. Good value for the cost. Read more
