I grew tired of spending the time (and $) getting my lashes done, so I have plunged back down the rabbit hole of strip lashes- and I'm not complaining about these at all. ⭐️ ARRIVAL & PACKAGING ⭐️ The 4 pack arrived quick- each individual (sealed on the top and bottom) box of lashes neatly packed together in a sealed plastic bag. Each box comes with the (two) lashes strips and an instructional page, but no adhesive- that needs to be sourced seperate. ⭐️ LASH (FAUX MINK) QUALITY⭐️ The lashes are actually really nice! They are very lightweight (but not cheap), super soft and very natural feeling. These are probably the best 'faux mink' I have used. ⭐️ THE BAND ⭐️ Is the stretch band really that different? YES! it is! The band is thin, so you don't really see that harsh, strip lash line. It is stretchy, which is a bit strange in my opinion- just because it feels like the lashes are hanging onto the band with a thin line of glue that is going to rip if you aren't careful. However, the band is surprisingly durable! Yes, you do need to be somewhat gentle (you aren't going to want to rip these off carelessly- who does that though?), but they are well made and hold up great. I have worn one pair for over a week now (daily- removing them each night) and they still look/function great! The elastic band really wins all the gold stars in the ease of application and comfort categories. Because they are flexible, they are MUCH easier to apply. You do not get that 'stubborn corner' that refuses to lay down right or follow the contour of the eye with these- that just DOES NOT happen! If you gave these to someone who has never applied lashes before, they would have no problem getting them on- quickly and without an issue. You don't even need an applicator or anything because they are easy to apply with your hands. If you are used to using application tools that won't be an issue. They are also extremely comfy to wear. Yes, they are lightweight and natural feeling, but you never get that poking or hard feeling on the lids with thess that you get with other strips. These really do contour to your personal eye shape INCREDIBLY WELL! I have almond shaped eyes and regular strips (even the really expensive ones) are always a pain because they don't want to wave like they need to. Let me put it this way- If you draw a very wavy line on a piece of paper, you could easily get these strips to follow that line...easily. Then, because they take the shape of the eye so well, they stay on great too! They are easy to trim to shape- I use sharp cosmetic scissors and the band isn't sticky and doesn't resist. There is sufficient space on the end to trim them and not make them look wonky or fake (you don't loose the natural taper). I haven't had any issues with these irritating my sensative eyes or contacts either. ⭐️ SIZE ⭐️ I picked the 444 and they are LONG and FULL. I freaked out a bit when I saw them in person, thinking they would be 'too much', but they look amazing on and I'm obsessed! Yes, they are a bit dramatic, but they do not look like brooms on my eyes. Again, I attribute that to the soft, lightweight and natural looking/feeling lashes, the perfect 'mapping' when these were constructed and how well they fit the eye. There is no doupt I'll be buying these again and I might try a different size (something a bit less dramatic) and I might not because I DO love these- drama and all. *Edit- I actually came back and ordered the 440. I got worried that, because these are new, the incredibly low price wouldn't stay that low forever and I wanted to get them while I could. ⭐️ MAINTENANCE ⭐️ I am careful about how I wash/clean the lashes. So far I've just used a new spoolie brush, warm water and a very gentle soap. I wish they gave some care instructions with these. I worry I guess because I don't want the amazing band to deteriorate or get brittle. Again, I haven't had any issues so far, so maybe I'm worrying for no reason and these really are that amazing. I'll definitely come back to update if/when anything happens with the 'wonder band'. ⭐️ VALUE & FINAL THOUGHTS ⭐️ Now that I have tried and fallen in love with these, I wonder why all strip lashes weren't made like this to begin with? This makes sense- way more than some stiff band that doesn't follow the natural curve of the eye. I can't complain though because FINALLY we have them! Great lash quality, easy to apply, comfortable and they look amazing! What more could someone ask for? A great price? Well, these have that covered too! It's shocking that with this quality and comfort that these are less than $4.50 per pack! If you wear strips (or even if you don't), you are going to want to try these lashes! I would even go so far to say that these remove almost all the pain points (we still have to put them on and take them off daily, which isn't even bad with these) that forces many of us to get extensions in the first place. I LOVE Ardell lashes! They're genuinely the best ones on the market - I don't think I would trust another brand. They're the best quality, they last the longest, and I can wear them over and over and over again because they're the most durable. Style 444 is long, curls beautifully, and looks great either alone or with a full eyeshadow look. I found that the eyelash band was thin and natural, too. They're super lightweight, as well. I've used a good amount of different type of false lashes and these are considered one of the better ones that I've tried. The style and thickness is just enough, not too dramatic and still gives the natural look. It's lightweight and comfortable, it almost feels like I don't even have it on sometimes. These are absolutely fantastic - as a hooded eyes girly, its extremely difficult to find thin band lashes that can look great on me. The band of the Ardell lashes are so thin and beautiful looking! I feel like they are much more natural looking than the thicker band eyelashes I typically buy. The thin band eyelashes I normally get generally look too simple or have such thin lashes that you can hardly tell with them due to my hooded eyes. These however are nicely layered with some wisps and are a decent length. Length wise, they are long enough to definitely give some definition and drama to hooded eyes. They are extremely flexible and easy to shape between the uneven areas of my hooded eyes. I will say, it is slightly harder to place since they are so flexible, but protip is to make sure the glue is tacky enough and the minute you place it, they will stay and you can adjust them from there. For the photo l included, I didn’t do my makeup, curl my natural lashes, use mascara, or trim the false ones, that way you can see how they can be placed. The shape you see can probably be changed and adjusted due to its flexibility and from having a thin band. Overall beautiful lashes, extremely happy with how they look on hooded eyes. It almost reminds me of the snapchat or ticktok filter eyelashes (which I think are super cute). I can't say for sure how many times they can be reused, if you are too rough with them they may not last - however if you give them tlc and are extra careful I definitely think they can be reused a few times if you store them appropriately in the box. It's also a pleasant suprise how the box included 4 of them - I was honestly just expecting one pair of lashes. What I love about these lashes is that the lash band is super thin and comfortable to wear for long hours. Because these lashes are more natural, they don't weigh my eyes down. The band is super soft, so it doesn't poke the inner corners of my eyes. These lashes are definitely natural enough to be worn as an everyday lash.
