I had to cut down the edge, but it's nice to know these are going to go all the way from the inner corner to the outer corner of your eye. These are statement lashes. I bought these false lashes to use for a Halloween Party & when I tried to carefully remove them from the pkg, the adhesive detached from the lash base on the first one. I still tried to put it on with a lash applicator, however, the lash would not stick to my lash line at all! The other one had the same issue with the adhesive detaching, but also the adhesive stuck to the lashes in a mass ball, so that one was completely unusable! I love wearing false lashes, but hate how destructive the glue can be to my natural lashes. I like the idea of lashes that have adhesive pre-applied. Not only is it more convenient, I've found it to be gentler to my natural lashes. It's strong enough to stay in place, yet gentle enough to be removed without tearing out your own lashes. Not sure how many times these self-adhering lashes can be reused, but with care and finesse, you might get a few uses out of them. After that, if the lashes are still in decent shape, you can apply some adhesive. For the economical price of $6.00, they're practically disposable. But I still prefer to extend the life for as long as possible. Keep in mind that a full set of false lashes will never be "one size fits all," so a bit of trimming and tweaking might be in order. The listing boasts up to 18 hours of wear. Personally, I would never leave them on for longer than 5-6 hours, so I can't vouch for the longevity. Nice idea in theory, but not so much in practice. The two strips were not made evenly, falling short of even the quality of the Ardell strip lashes I used for many years. This brand was my go-to for strip lashes from 2001 in high school through my late twenties in 2013, and they were never the greatest, but they were acceptable. These had a dense cluster at the outer end of one strip that was still visible when wearing. The gummy adhesive strip is too sticky to start, and loses its stick as you reposition. Even using my dedicated strip lash tweezers, the one strip just would NOT go on and stick on the inside corner. This was far more difficult to use than self-glued strip lashes. I like the fact that the strip is black, but that gummy strip is too thick and very obvious at the inside corners/ends. Again, nice idea, but just did not work, even for seasoned user like myself. For the fact that these are self-adhesion false eyelashes, I do not trust anything that well to not use it with glue, which does defeat the purpose of getting something like these, but I know that if lashes like these are messed with or adjusted, then the value with the tackyness of the glue is compromised. Of course, I am not trying to be rude or mean, but for how I wear my daily false eyelashes, and how windy it can get wearing them around, I just cannot trust something like pre-applied glue to something like that. I will add that the style of these are lovely, and that if I did not live out where I live where it can be quite windy every single day, then the glue is something that I could consider trusting. However, putting these on with my own prefered lash glue, these work out well for what they are, though the glue I put on does set up a little differently than if I had nothing on them prior to putting it on, but if you know that, then it isn't so bad, really. These 'Ardell', Winks Self Adhesive Lashes (in the Haze style) are very convenient to have; they provide me full lashes, without needing any messy glue. The lashes have a self-adhesive band, and this can be trimmed to one's eye shape. I think these lashes look very nice, and give me volume without feeling heavy. These are nice quality lashes that stayed on for several hours, and I believe I could get another use out of this pair. Additionally, the band of the lashes look like I have eyeliner already on; so it gives a beautiful eye look. I'm very happy with this product, and would definitely re-order these again. ✨️ Read more
