Fits well, works well. I bought this for a DPMS Panther, Gen 1, in 308. The gun uses a DPMS 6 position stock, and I was concerned it might not fit, but it did. I didn't have any particular problem getting it on going top to bottom, taking care to get the side tab aligned. Did a couple of mags and it reduced the felt recoil enough to be noticeable. Pretty decent shoulder pad. It fits my M4 stock perfectly; it's not too difficult to put on and I have no concerns that it will come off accidentally. The padding is just OK. It's not super cushiony, but it's a definite upgrade from the plastic cheese grater. Read more

Awesome recoil pad, I purchased this recoil pad as an upgrade for my AR-12 shotgun, which came with a standard AR recoil pad on the 6 position butt stock. While the standard recoil pad is fine on the AR-15, Although my AR-15 came with a Missouri Tactical recoil pad similar to this one. You spend the day at the range with an AR-12 with a standard recoil pad on it and buddy you will feel every round you put through it. That being said ,this Missouri Tactical recoil pad with it's shock absorbing technology greatly reduces the felt recoil on my AR-12.
