I purchased these boots for our daughter after she outgrew her previous riding boots. We paired them with a set of Ariat half chaps. I have owned a few sets of Ariat work boots and cowboy boots so I was familiar with the brand's build quality. I obviously can't wear these, but after a few months of use and now being well broke in, my daughter couldn't be happier. Read more

I needed a new pair of paddock boots after returning to riding, and I’m so glad I chose the Ariat Scout. In addition to looking great they fit beautifully and true to size with good ankle support both in and out of the saddle. These boots were pretty comfortable right out of the box and I’m sure will only get more so as they continue to break in. Great boot with good quality at this price point- I’m very happy with them so far. Read more

Comfortable for paddock boots. Started to wear out quickly. Within 3 months, the tongue was breaking apart and the lace points were rubbing down to fabric Read more

I wear a size 10 in heels with a tapered toe, however size 9 Ariel is perfect. Well constructed and most comfortable when partially laced at the top. After breaking I suspect upper will loosen a bit. A good looking and functional work or play boot. boot. Read more

These are beautiful, good quality boots. I love them but they are very stiff at first…I don’t wear them every day but if I did they would loosen up…like any leather shoe they need to be broken in. They would be great for every day wear. I tuck the laces down into my boots but cannot get them to stay tucked in and it drives me crazy. Maybe if the laces were longer it would help. Very nice boot though. Read more

I tried 5 different Ariat boot styles. In addition to 2 other brands. (Thank you Amazon's "Try free for 7 days") The other brands were quick returns. It was worth the higher price for real leather that will last longer in the end. I narrowed it down to two lace styles and one zipper style. In the end I chose this style. I like that I have the flexibly of how tight I make my boots. Boots that go higher up my ankles to my calves can be snug. I know...ski boots were always a challenge too. A situation my sister-in-law had common with me. The reason for owning our own gear. The top eyelet is perfect for tightening without the rub against the metal hooks. (I don't know what those are called) It will save my laces so they'll last longer vs rubbing against the metal part when tying my boots. The boots fit snug without feeling too tight. The only thing I wish is that there was a more polished look to the leather vs the matte look this pair has. I will use them when I ride just for fun but will wear them mostly in my regular daily life. Read more
