These boots were what I expected because I tried them on at a store which, unfortunately, did not have my size. They are sturdy and well made. I do not ride horses any longer and would not recommend them for riding because of the heavy tread on the soles. It could get hung up in the stirrup. But for comfortable sturdy boots which are attractive they are perfect. As I have gotten older my calves have gotten too big around for regular cowboy boots. I love these boots! They are black and the photos make them look gray, but I knew that ahead by reading product reviews and questions. I was worried about them fitting correctly because I have difficult feet to find shoes for. I usually wear a size 10w, but knew, after having visited a local store that had other boots this brand, that the 10 didn't fit right. I decided to try ordering these in an 11, thinking I would take advantage of Amazon's free returns if they didn't fit, but they fit great! I absolutely love them, they are so comfy, there was no "breaking them in" they fit comfortably from the first time putting them on. My friends highly recommended Fatbaby boots to me and they were not wrong, will definitely purchase again. Read more

These boots are great for my job! However, there are some pros and cons to these boots. Pros: Roomy enough to fit a good pair of insoles in them. Wide Correct length Cheap price They are cute. Cons: Insoles are glued in They need different insoles, so you have to pry out the ones that came with them to size a new pair. They are wide in the feet and ankles (is this why they are called fat baby?!?). Read more
