Ariat Womens Lively Western Cowboy Boot

Love these boots! Definitely not a work boot. Excellent quality and very sharp looking. The color of the leather is a very rich chocolate brown. Each time I have worn them I have recieved compliments on their style. A few things to note: - They run large about a half size. I wear a 7.5 and this with this size, the boot fit very loosely. I re-ordered a size 7 and they fit like a dream. VERY comfortable. - The shaft of the boot is tall, not mid-calf on my 5'3" frame and is also very wide. That being said, if you want to wear these boots under jeans, good luck finding the right pants. I had to resort to wearing bell bottoms or wide leg jeans in order to not have the shape of the boot stand out under the pant leg. If you're buying these to wear over skinny jeans or with dresses, I HIGHLY reccomend this pair of boots. They can easily be dressed up or down. I even wore them to work with a white sheath dress (work "uniform" at my job is business casual). - I love the toe shape, not too pointy and not a rounded toe. I wear a size ten normally, and the 9.5 fit perfectly. Comfortable right out of the box. First time i wore them was to a dance lesson, and I had no problems at all. I like that they don't make my feet look too big, and i also like the subtle look of them. they are not too ostentatious, just feminine enough. i wouldn't go work on a ranch in these or even ride a horse, but they are definitely more durable and look way better than the polyester knockoffs, and worth the price in my opinion Read more

It's always hard picking the correct shoe size online when ordering from another country! (Especially when I have long, wide feet, narrow ankles & calves..) But I read every review available, checked every comparative shoe size chart; considered that these were made of leather (prone to stretching) and just went for it! I am NOT disappointed - what a beautiful strong boot! Initially they felt a little big, but they're snugging to my feet & with winter socks, they fit perfectly (I live in sub-tropical Australia..) So, in Australia, I usually size up with boots, usually to 39 or even 40 - I picked a US size 9. They are roomy & hopefully won't stretch TOO much if I don't wear them every single day? I love them & don't want to take them off, but I can't sleep in them nor wear them at work :D I had to have this style (Lively Western), even if they don't come in a rounded toe - I love the stitch-patterning & the colour Old Western Brown - a distressed natural finish. I absolutely LOVE these boots. I love Ariat anyway because they have great stuff yes they are a bit on the expensive side but they are always worth it. I love these so much. The look good and feel good. And yes I was reading ALL the comments about them and they all said the same thing about how comfortable they were and that they run a bit big. They only run about a half of a size to big i usually wear a 9 but i ordered a 8.5 and they fit great and feel great too. If you are looking for a good pair of cowboy boots I HIGHLY recommend getting these they WILL NOT disappoint. And they came rather fast too. Simply love them!! They arrived on time, just like the picture, love the color. I usually wear 5.5 on boots and this fit like a glove, just perfect could wear them right out the box, super comfy, I have small but wide feet and this have enough toe room despite the square toe. I was skeptical, especially over boots that I have never physically touch or put on. I read the reviews on these and everyone kept talking about how comfy these boots are and I can say they are! The heel itself is a rubber heel (like a harder rubber so they don't make noise when you walk in them, I, myself love to hear a click from my shoes but I can deal with it as they look awesome and I get so many compliments too! Overall I really like these boots, they're a great color and the heel is the perfect height. However, they definitely run large which caused uncomfortable rubbing on the soles of my feet. I'm a true size 5, so I'm unable to go down a size. I would recommend going down a size if you're normally a half size. Can't say for sure if everyone should go down a size though. Read more

I have been searching for the perfect boot and I finally found them. They are a classic style and are very high quality. I am a standard size 10 and regular width but have a high instep. The I can't even squeeze my feet into some boots because of my instep. I ordered these in a 10 wide and they are amazing. No heel slippage and the wide is a nice accommodation for the snip toe so its not tight squeeze. The shaft with I a tad wide so it fits my thick calves nicely, there's even room to spare.
