These boots are AMAZING! Just got them for work, and an upcoming trip. They are stylish, and COMFORTABLE! I was shocked how good they felt on day 1! Ariat is great, a comfortable fit on me and these appear to be the real deal. The finish on the leather front is a little distressed which surprised me but the look is still great. These are my casual weekend walking boots for October to May in MN so they will get a lot more “distressed.” I walk in snow and waterproofing is good for that, I wouldn’t stand in a puddle though because it has a zipper and no way is water not going to seep in there. I wear a 5.5, but all of my boots and athletic shoes are 6. Based on reviews I went for my 5.5 and they fit, but only barefoot or with thin socks, so returned for a 6. They fit good in the forefoot; a bit snug but flexible and my heel slips a little. Im on the 2nd day of wearing and even though they were comfortable out of the box, I can feel them forming to my feet and I have less slipping. I replaced the insole with an arch insole to help, and they also feel a little less bulky. Wanted something for daily wear and random jobsite visits and I'm thinking these will work. Read more

So far they are Perfect. I've had them for a few months and worn about a dozen times. Still a little on the stiff side but that will ease up in time. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. If you need a good pair of well made boots, perhaps you'd like to try these. I have zero complaints and I'm super fussy. Normally a 7.5 medium but I have a high instep (top of your foot) and a narrow heel, so quite often I cannot get my foot into even the most basic of shoes and when I do my heel slips out, lol - yah I know, life is tough...these Ariat boots fit me really well though. Worn with your average thickness of socks (not thin little girl socks...real socks made to be worn with shoes) - They are not too tight and they don't pinch me anywhere. Because I have a narrow heel I might consider one of those heel gripper thingy's, but overall these fit really well currently with minimal heel slippage. It kind of feels like the more I wear them the less it is noticeable, so perhaps the leather (as others have noted) is actually conforming to my foot. I don't really know, but I love them. I love Ariat . These boots are plenty roomy for the toes, in my regular size. I have 3 pair of Ariat boots and they're 3 different sizes. Was unsure if these would fit in my regular size, because I never know with Ariat. They're always great quality and I always wear them a lot. My favorite brand actually, but different styles seem to be always a different size . Will still buy Ariat for their quality, but I'll just have to figure out what size I'll wear. I was prepared to return this boot in my regular size 8 medium, however they're just right and can wear thick socks with them. Maybe could have gone down a half size, but I like plenty of room for my toes and I like to wear socks with my boots. Read more
