I bought a few tummy control undies from amazon. As far as comfort goes, these are it. I returned the others and bought more of these. So I don't actually care about the tummy control. I will say i look kind of slimmer under loose fitting clothes, but it will not give you an excuse to wear tight shirts because it gives me a little muffin top. I'm already a pretty small person, too. I actually bought these for CCW. I was tired of wearing 2 layers to CCW. I CCW a subcompact at 12:00 AIWB, and this is comfortable. Sometimes when I sit, the beavertail makes contact with my stomach, but i just pull these up and I'm good to go. In fact, these have replaced my normal boxer briefs. When I'm not CCW, the band that covers the stomach can be folded/scrunched down to the waistline to look like normal boxer briefs. I can't tell a difference in terms of comfort. Read more

I bought some of these to try, to cover my stomach when I conceal carry. I don't always like to wear an undershirt, but if I don't when I carry the stippling on the grip will eventually make my stomach soar from rubbing. I saw another company made a product like this, just for that purpose but they are way too expensive so when I came across these I figured I'd give them a try. They have worked out great for this purpose and they are pleasantly comfortable to boot, so a win win. Read more

Works great. Size is a good fit (not bigger or smaller than usual sizes.) The support for the upper waistband is a good tightness - not too firm (you won't be out of breath) and because it isn't a huge amount tighter than the rest of the briefs, it doesn't give you a muffin-top, pushing all of your torso above the beltline.
