I have a very adhd son. He is constantly chewing on his fingers or shirts. I've given him chewers before but they were the ones for teething babies and he didn't care for them. Plus they were quickly misplaced. I was super hesitant to order this because of the price. But now that I got it and gave it to my son I'm super glad I bought it! I'm terrible about reading dimensions, so it's smaller than I expected. But that's actually better. It's more similar to his fingers he was chewing before. He likes to play with string while chewing it and I feel better that it won't get set down and forgotten since it's a necklace. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. I’ve bought the softest one it’s red 10 times, the next level I got was blue/teal two times and the second time purchasing he stopped using it and then started to chew his lip, bite his fingers and grind teeth. Yes they’re expensive, yes the brand is very true to its name and what the items are designed for. I was hesitant at first, the price overwhelmed me, I kept second guessing if I should go cheaper, I couldn’t quiet my mind; if I bought a non name brand that isn’t the type of silicone that’s safe for oral use, what if I bought cheaper and he gets sick. I just keep buying this one. I will continue until my ASD son has enough satisfaction with oral stimulation.
