I purchased a pair of shoes just like these for a wedding a couple of years ago. They were very expensive and they were not very comfortable after a while. So, I have rarely wore them again, even though there were times that I wish I could have. I decided to give these a try, and I'm glad I did. These shoes look very nice. They come well packaged with covers for each shoe. They fit great - true to size. They do have a roomy toe area, which makes them far more comfortable than the previous pair I purchased. Walking in them feels good. The arch support is not bad for a shoe like this. I have not had the opportunity to wear these for a long time in a single stretch, but I can already tell that they will be more comfortable than other shoes of this style. The sole of the shoe has a fairly aggressive tread, which is unusual for a dress shoe. Usually the bottom is smooth. This may be a giveaway that this is not a "high-end" shoe, but frankly I do not care. Using dress shoes in the Utah winters is usually a treacherous endeavor, but this should help keep me from slipping and falling. For the price, this is really a great shoe. It looks good, fits well and is comfortable. Time will tell how well these hold up, but so far I am impressed with this shoe. Read more

In today's business environment, with its relaxation in the formality of dress, shoes like these that feature rubber soles and increased padding don't stand out the way they once did. As soon as I slipped my feet into these shoes, I was impressed by the padding, and snug, comfortable fit. Another noteworthy feature is the thick rubber sole that promises to deliver traction on slick surfaces and wear well. The stitching of the soles to the upper is also first-rate. These are shoes I will reach for when on business travel, as they would be ideal for walking through airports and attending day-long meetings. The only mild disappointment for me is the quality of the leather upper, which is rather stiff and inexpensive looking if you inspect it closely. Then again, for a well-made pair of shoes in this affordable price range, it would be too much to expect them to be made from buttery-soft calf leather. For sizing purposes, I'm an 11.5 and the size 12 fits me well. Read more
