I much prefer this over the Joby flexible tripod for one main reason. The neck the holds up the camera can be adjusted and tightened into place. The Joby is a ball and sock holding up the camera. Over time the joint will wear and some cameras are not light (Mine is a Sony RX 100 M2) so if I were to wrap the Joby around a vertical pole you can imagine the weight of the camera cannot maintain a vertical shot. This will! I had bought one similar to this several years ago and recently the one of the bottom feet fell off. Ive scoured the internet to find something similar and came up with mainly ball and socket flexible tripods. I am very satisfied with this product! Read more
