You can use the bags that came with or even bags from the grocery store. The best part is that it’s incredibly easy for my kids to use. This is much better than the old rake and shovel method my parents made me use and I'm sure the trash man appreciates it also. I am 6'1" and do not have to bend over to use but much taller you may have to. It comes ready to assemble just by screwing the handles together and you're ready to get to work. The bin has little areas where the loops of the bags attach so the bags don't just go into the scoop. It only comes with two bags and they are very strong but there are some other bags that fit perfect with it and are a little cheaper.
