I use Arm & Hammer cat litter exclusively, but I do experiment with different formulations. I like the Unscented Multicat - even though I only have one cat - because it does a great job of reducing odor and dust. It clumps well and keeps the mess confined, meaning fewer little box changes. My cat seems to like it - I suspect that's because he doesn't have to deal with strong perfumes - and I find the 18 lb. boxes very convenient. I use two boxes at a time, and I find it much easier to manage two mid-size boxes than one very large and heavy box. That's just a matter of personal choice, but I think a lot of older cat owners might benefit from this. Arm & Hammer is not the cheapest brand on the market, but it's priced well for premium litter, and in my opinion - and that of my cat - it's worth a little extra for the superior quality. Read more

Best cat litter. Keeps the smell locked in. I have two cats and you would not ever know it because this cat litter works! Dust free and it lasts longer than most brands. Read more

This litter delivers on its promise—great odor control and tight clumps that make scooping easy. It keeps smells locked in for days, even in a multi-cat home. Pros: • Excellent odor control • Strong, dry clumping • Low dust Cons: • Tracks a little outside the box • Scented version can be strong • Heavy to carry and pour Bottom line: Reliable, effective, and worth the price. If you want a clean-smelling home and hassle-free clean-up, this is a solid choice Read more

We tried Dr so-and-so and the slide and glide and super scooper kitty litters with all the extreme claims. The Dr stuff does not cover smell-the people lie. We have one small cat. This stuff actually gets rid of smell and it doesn’t even need perfume. Clumps the same as the others. A little dusty. Read more

Very good cat litter. The fragrance has bothered me so I have to get the unscented. Read more

This is good enough, but only when I open the box and there’s no fragrance. It’s supposed to be unscented but sometimes there’s a light but obvious perfumey or floral scent that activates my allergies. I wake up in the middle of the night because I can’t breathe after my cat uses the box. I’m always disappointed when I open the box and it stinks, but I have to use it because I need litter by the time it comes on Subscribe & Save, and it’s too heavy to return. When it comes actually unscented, it works well enough. I use it in my litter robot, and I have to extend cycling to at least 15 min after my cat uses it because it doesn’t clump right away. It will clump, but you have to give it some time, and even at 15 min, sometimes it will break apart in 2-3 pieces. But there’s absolutely no dust, which I’m super happy about (and so is my litter robot), and none of my cats sneeze or have any adverse reactions to it. I did have to slowly introduce my cats to it after switching from Tidy Cats Free & Clean (too much dust and broke my previous litter robot) as they didn’t take to it right away. As far as tracking, there’s some, as with all litter, but it seems to be contained to the litter area. It’s less tracking than my former litter option, and that’s a plus. Read more

I have tried many different cat litter but this is the one. The clumping, dust level and ease of scooping makes it a winner in my book. At least when my cat leaves the litter box there is not a trail of litter behind her. It is a great value ad well. Read more

We had used another litter brand for years and found that the quality had seemed to decline. So, we've been sampling A&H litter. This is the best version of this brand I have tried. Low or no dust, and there is no litter box odor. Very happy with this litter. Read more
