Really nice I wanted something that looks classy for my bfs job and he gets compliments on it. Only thing is there’s this bubble like thing at the top, it’s not a plastic cover and I don’t feel a chip or anything so I think it’s something on the inside. Bothers me more than it bothers him lol. This watch looks great, and has an expensive look without breaking the bank. The only issue I had was the watch was definitely in “used” condition despite purchasing “new from Amazon” the watch had tape residue and was not zip tied to the box like it should’ve been. The protective plastic also wasn’t there and the tags were in the box not attached to the watch itself. I had to use rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth as there was fingerprints all over the watch. Also the time was already set and working which shows it possibly was a return. Some of the links had scuffs on them. Luckily they are the links that I had to remove to fit the watch. But overall the watch would be great if it actually came in new. This Armitron watch has a very attractive look. The black dial and the gold tinted hands really are impressive, and the shiny gold and silver finish on the band stands out as well. The band was a bit too large for my wrist, so I had a jeweler remove two links. Now it fits quite well, and doesn't rotate on my wrist. The double push-button safety is a nice feature, and keeps the clasp from opening accidentally. I have some issues with the watch though. The date window is rather small and difficult to see compared to some other watches, and under certain lighting conditions, the mineral crystal lens creates a starburst effect that interferes with reading the dial. Perhaps this is nitpicky, but those like myself with less-than-optimal vision, might have similar concerns. The watch is also heavier than those I've owned in the past. This Armitron Men's Date Function Bracelet Watch is even better looking in person that it is in the photo. It reminds me a lot of how watches used to be designed years ago with sleek elegance. It has somewhat of an old-fashioned style along with modern design elements. Great looks in a watch are nice, but to me that doesn’t mean much if the watch doesn’t function well. This Armitron watch functions perfectly. I’ve been testing it several times per day for the past two weeks - comparing its time function to the nuclear clocks found online. It isn’t off by even a fraction of a second. It’s spot on. I guess this accuracy isn’t surprising given the fact that the watch uses Japanese quartz movements that are very precise. Plus, Armitron is a brand that’s been around since 1975, so they know what they’re doing. I really like this watch. It’s definitely my all-time favorite in this price range - even if it were priced $100 more. Read more
