I’ve always loved a lightweight, gauzy maxi skirt for summer; it serves romantic vacation vibes. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen one, so I immediately snapped up the Arolina chiffon boho maxi skirt in black floral. What I loved: ✅ it’s long enough to truly be a maxi skirt on me: a taller, high waisted girl. ✅ the built-in liner that hits above the knee to preserve your modesty. ✅ the print has a vintage feel with enough colors that I can easily change the look with a variety of different tops. What I didn’t love so much: 🫥 The skirt is tiered, which is fine, but the top tier ends right at the largest point of my body, so I get a seam across an area that doesn’t need any additional bulk. 🫥 There are pockets that aren’t terribly functional and also add needless bulk. 🫥 The sizing seemed true except for the hip measurement. It ran a little smaller than expected so across my hips it was tight instead of flowy. That could also be the way that I’m shaped since I’m bottom heavy. All in all, it’s a good skirt, but I have to wear it with a longer shirt to conceal my hips. Read more
