I tried another scalp massager before this one, and this is hands down my favorite. I like that it has two sides with each offering a different level of firmness, so I can have a more vigorous or lighter massage depending on how my scalp is feeling. I think the massager also allows me to get a scalp scrub into my scalp better (I also use the Aromatic rosemary scalp scrub, which is a little pricey but also worth it to me). If you have longer hair, move it through slowly so you don't make tangles. I generally don't have a problem with tangling with my long hair as long as I am not rushed. This scalp brush is pretty easy to clean. I spritz a little vinegar on it and use a small brush or my finger to get between the bristles. Some scalp brushes come in pieces and are a lot more difficult to clean. Read more
Maybe a bit of a dramatic title, but that’s how I felt after using the first time. If you are not using a shampoo/scalp brush, you are missing out! I love this one in particular because it offers two intensities and is 100% washable silicone. One side has longer, more flexible massagers, and the other is a bit shorter and former. Depending in the level of scalp cleansing and stimulation you are after, you have options. I have hair that tends to get oily at the roots after a day, and this has made a huge difference. My hair feels cleaner for longer, and it feels lifted at the roots…saying a lot since I have hair below my waist and a lot of it. I use this at least 3-4 times a week, sometimes more (I wash daily), and would be lost without it! Read more
I have been using this to gently (emphasis on GENTLY) remove product buildup from my scalp. I have picked up and felt other scalp massagers like this in local stores and they feel rough and unyielding and cheaply made. This is soft to the touch and offers a blunt side in case you don't need super fine spines lathering and massaging your head. It feels good. One unexpected positive outcome is that it lathers the shampoo so well you could technically use less if you wanted. The only negative I see is the cost. I would buy another if this one went missing, though. Read more

Seems fine. I can't really say anything about any new growth; but it does stimulate the scalp and feels nice when I use it. To me, it doesn't really seem much different than one I saw at a dollar store. The size is nice though and it is easy to pack. I also use it on days where Ive had my hair in a ponytail all day and it is really nice for that. It really helps my scalp to relax from being in that style too long. It is a nice addition to a spa day bag for yourself or for a gift. Read more
