My teen has done crazy driving with this RC and it lasts and lasts, he's launched it and it keeps running. He's changed out parts from time to time and eventually put in a brushless system but that was just his preference. If he had this years ago, he could have saved hundreds of dollars. The Arrma Grom line is really good. Yes they are more expensive than the Chinese brands and some like the Grom Gorgon have brushed motors. That being said the engineering is tight, they handle well and just take a beating. Parts and upgrades are inexpensive and available at hobby shops and online. Absolutely the best entry level truck ive ever gotten. Plenty quick and super tough. Enjoyable for a advanced hobbyist but also perfect for 6 year old on low setting. Super tough cant break it and will add more to our fleet. Read more
