This is a very high quality keyboard, I was pleasantly surprised. I have to run a legacy computer (a win xp if you can believe that) because it has some programs that can't be replaced and they will not run on anything newer than win xp. Well the idea of having a corded KB and mouse on my desk was a no brainier. I'm constantly switching back and forth between two computers and if one had a corded KB, it would be a total PITA. The ARTECK keyboard is slightly smaller than my original desktop KB and the key layout is slightly different, but it's not weird and is easy to get used to, the keys have a very nice touch to them and they're silent. IMHO I'd say the overall design is great... both functionally and aesthetically. Connecting the RF link between the KB and the computer is a piece of cake, no surprises... it just works. The power for the KB is somewhat of a mystery and it's not explained well in the instructions (however there are instruction included) I'm guessing there's a battery on the main circuit board that can be charged using the supplied USB cable. There's a small on/off switch on the face of the KB and few LED's indicating when the KB is first powered on, or if it's locked, or when the battery needs to be charged... This is easily a 5 star product, easy to recommend, but a KB is a personal thing and you may not agree... for the cost, I don't think you can go wrong with this product. Cheers. Read more

I was looking for a wireless keyboard to replace my wired keyboard that constantly got the cord tangled with the rat's nest under my desk. This keyboard fit the bill perfectly; it was plug-and-play compatible, non-blue-tooth (I use a KVM switch for my work and personal PC, so blue-tooth would not work for my setup), and low profile. I press a key, it appears at the cursor on the screen; perfect! The one criticism I have for this keyboard is that the key press is kind of mushy, not crisp like some of my previous keyboards. I’ve had this keyboard for over a year and it’s great. It rarely needs to be charged, and is quiet. About a week ago, I went to use it and realized some of the buttons had stopped working. I realized that the keyboard comes with a 2 year warranty and emailed the company. Customer service gave me clear instructions on troubleshooting, which unfortunately did not work. They honored the warranty without hassle, and affirmed the replacement would come with its own 2 year warranty. I had the replacement a few days after giving them my address. For an inexpensive keyboard, I’m beyond impressed with the customer service. I’ve had quality issues with much bigger brands that wanted to charge return shipping, but none of that here. Read more

I got this keyboard less than a year ago and within two months the keys started popping out. I was able to plug them back in but now it’s gotten to the point that it’s a constant hassle. My ALT, CTRL, and arrow keys finally gave out and I can’t get it back in so I can’t even use this keyboard to perform my job as needed. They keyboard is on a desk in my office and I’m the only one who uses it so it shouldn’t fall apart. The charge does hold though which is nice but the keys are not good quality, sorry. Update: I am updating to 5 stars because customer service reached out to me and went above and beyond to address my issue. Other than the issue I had with the keys, which customer service resolved via replacement and refund, the keyboard was perfect. The charge held for weeks and it is compact and lightweight. Read more

My school district got new computers with wireless keyboards over the summer, but they used actual batteries to work and weren't rechargeable. I assumed my school wouldn't replace the batteries and didn't want to contact the tech guys every time I needed a new battery. I'm so glad I found this wireless keyboard!! I like the look of it, how easy the keys are to press (they are pretty similar to a laptop keyboard in terms of how much you have to press down), and the charge is great! I am pretty conscious of making sure to turn it off when I'm not using it, but it still holds a charge for a long time if I forget for a couple hours. When I did need to charge it, I could plug it in to the computer and use it while it was charging. Furthermore, it only took maybe half an hour to charge (maybe even less). The price is amazing for this quality product! A lot of keyboards are $30 or more, so I was really happy to find this one! Completely recommend!! Read more
