ASICS Mens Game FlyteFoam Tennis Shoes

I bought these specifically for pickleball, and they’ve made a huge difference for me. I’ve tried other shoes before, but these ASICS Game FlyteFoams are the first pair that keep my feet completely pain-free — which is saying something, because foot pain used to really slow me down. Just being comfortable on the court helps my confidence and makes the game a lot more fun (even though my skills still need work, lol). The shoes are surprisingly lightweight, but still have the support I need for all the side-to-side movement in pickleball. The cushioning is responsive without being too soft, and the traction on the outsole grips both indoor and outdoor courts really well. I don’t slide around, and I feel secure planting my feet for quick pivots. They also look sharp in person, with a streamlined athletic design that doesn’t feel bulky. Break-in time was minimal — they felt good right out of the box. After a few matches, I could really tell the difference in stability and comfort compared to my old pair. Bottom line: these are excellent shoes if you play pickleball (or tennis) and want something that’s light, supportive, and easy on your feet. These fit me well (9.5 was true to size), and after 3 months of heavy use, they've worn well, too, as the sole appears to be about 75% worn (about as expected playing about ~10 hours a week). The support and traction are on point. Mine still look new, with only minor wear/cracking showing where the plastic upper meets the sole at the bend point near the "ball" of the foot (side though). The worst tennis/pickleball shoe I ever tried. Not comfortable from start, and I hoped they will break in. After playing for less then a month still didn't break in, but the sole is almost completely gone. I normally wear asics gel-dedicate, which are also not very durable, but they last me for about 3 month. These might last another week or two, so less then 6 weeks altogether. I'm going to attempt to return. Not sure if I get any money back, but the shoes are garbage anyway. Read more
